Location was good as the purpose was a visit to the royal centre
The Hotel and room facilities were only average, but as we only requIred it for one night it represented good value for money for what we paid.
Had no hot water for our 2 day stay
Good location- no need to get taxis to city centre. Staff very friendly and polite.
Carpet was stained and need a good clean. Wall paper was torn in areas. Shower leaked. Hole in the back of the toilet door as if someone had punched it.
Really patient and helpful staff, the location is amazing
warm, friendly relaxing atmosphere.
having to come back home,
Had to move room beds were awful and the smell of smoke. Dirty rooms and couldn't understand the receptionist and breakfast was terrible won't be returning
The room was great . lovely and clean and very comfortable beds
Very short on staff in the kitchen and when I knocked on the kitchen door and could see in the kitchen it looked like a bomb site . Very messy and dirty and service was very slow
close to the city centre
breakfast was poor room window looking at the backside wall Noise of the heating system common areas are cold.
Carpet in room stained, room smelt not very nice at all. For the duration of our stay there was sick outside our room. Heating didnt work in the room. Bathroom not cleaned properly. Bin lid broken. Bed not comfy. We stayed with my mum and my 12 year daughter. Groups of people coming in all hours. This should be advertised so familys could choose to stay somewhere else.
Had to switch room 3 times as the 1st one had no heating, 2nd was dirty and had no toilet seat cover, while the 3rd had the dirtiest carped I've ever seen (but the heating was running OK)
Easy to book in. Good location to visit Notts uni
We didn't like the chaos at breakfast - no staff around and self service. Tables were left uncleared - guests are meant to do it, but few worried about it........
Breakfast wasn't very organised. Big queue and having to wait for food and cutlery
Breakfast - too many people for the restaurant area
Smoking Room and breakfast and the younger girl that works in the evening she's very helpful and pleasant unlike the miserable day staff
Bed so uncomfortable I didn't sleep for a week Staff extremely rude are first day they took the fire alarm down as it kept going off but when we took it down the same member off staff threaten to chuck us out would never stay here again
Being told to come to reception to collect iron and ironing board when all other hotels ive been to bring it to you
Very noisy AC (which you need for heating, as the rooms are freezing cold)
Location and breakfast
Carpet was filthy with stains, bed was hard and there wasn't a sofa bed in the room as expected.
Paid 59.00 for a double room, very cheap nice breakfast offered. Room sizeable and nice bathroom. In city centre so close, will definitely use this again.
The carpet was dirty... That's all.
The room was very comfortable
We were unable to connect to the wifi
The room was dirty, especially the shower and shower curtain. Breakfast was an endurance exercise, with no cups, cutlery or plates and a delay in actually providing breakfast with only what looked like 2 members of staff working.
Closeness to centre
Foreign Desk Clerk nable to understand my ENGLISH surname
we came here for my boyfriends 18th birthday, were both quite young and arnt earning a huge amount of money so it was lovely to be able to find somewhere that wasn't really expensive to stay for a couple of days, we was only planning to stay one day but when I saw how cheap it was compared to other places for two night we just had to stay the extra day, we had breakfast included on our stay which was very nice, there was lots of choice and it was beautifully prepared! the hotel was so close to everything that we didn't need to get a taxi or a bus anywhere which means we saved a lot of money on travel, the staff were lovely and helped us out with everything that we needed, it was a perfect couple of days away and will be a time that we will never forget!
the only thing that I would complain about was the cleanliness of the hotel, of course for the price I wasn't expecting some 5* establishment but It didn't look like the carpet had ever been cleaned or hoovered, however I really wasn't bothered, as a young couple we really didn't mind we was just over the moon to be able to get away for a couple of days for the first time!
easy to book nice big rooms
air conditioning going all night no switch to turn off no parking facillties
clean and fresh
no bacon for breakfast
