Comfort, bar food I think your receptionist (one with short blonde hair) should learn to smile when greeting visitors! Not once did she smile on booking in, although I did get a smile later when I spoke. I am a great believer in "first impressions"

Good location, price and facilities. Noisy electric radiators, always clicking throughout the night. Lift was out of action sometime on saturday evening/sunday morning 28th/29th Jan which meant there were a lot of people going up and down the stairs, ie a lot of footfall. Room 209 was near the stairs.

The location is very central, the staff efficient, the room and en suite very clean. I think the breakfast selection is much more than continental The quilt on the bed was barely large enough to reach to the edges of the bed and was thin, without weight or warmth. In my opinion and that of my partner, this was a summer quilt and whilst perhaps suitable for some guests, it was far too lightweight and small for us. It was a chilly, unpleasant night which could easily have been different if there had been a more substantial winter quilt or additional bedding available A couple more t-bags could also be left

Have stayed there before. Very good value including an excellent breakfast, comfortable room, wifi and also really close to relatives. For shopping it's also great as it's only 5 minutes walk to Poole Shopping Precinct and Dolphin Mall. A bit worried about the security of parking behind the hotel. How good is the cctv monitoring? No evidence for this really, just a bit nervous as a number of youths pass the hotel on the way to their Flats and trhe beach areas.

We booked Holiday Inn for a night as we were helping our daughter to relocate for her job. As such we didn't have a lot of time to look around. However reading other reviews and the price and location guided our choice. We were very happy with everything. The rooms were lovely, comfy, warm and clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast offered plenty of choice. We were in fact surprised to see warm food as we thought we would get a 'continental breakfast'. The location is perfect to shop from or take a walk around and enjoy the scenery. Would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Poor choice of food - expensive and all high fat. Restaurant area was lit up like an airport departure lounge.

It was accessable, clean staff got about their work but were pleasant when talked to, breakfast was hectic but very pleasant. Rooms were clean and facilities above average.all in all a good stay. Bed was comfortable [but for my back a bit too soft], the adjoining rooms walls were not that sound proof, so if someone talked loudly you could hear them. We had to wait for plates and cups at breakfast. All in all these are minor complaints but are probably relevant to this survey. We enjoyed what time we spent in the hotel, and would certainly use it again if we were in the area.
