Location was good and staff friendly. Room was clean and tidy The breakfast is very poor, the orange juice was horrible and the coffee was from a machine and tasted like it. The eggs and sausage were poor and no bacon. In my opinion a breakfast is important in a hotel, it is the last contact with the hotel you have and leaves a lasting impression. Apart from the bar no other facilities.

My only complaint was regarding the parking. The website states that hotel parking is available so one would assume that the hotel has its own car park. Unfortunately this is not the case; the hotel uses the Gun Wharf Quays car park and when I arrived at the hotel the car park was full and I had to queue for ages to get a space. Not what you need after a long journey! On the plus side, as a hotel guest parking is free for the first 24 hours and £2.00 per 24 hours thereafter so much cheaper than paying the £20.00 per day if you were not a hotel guest.

The room was clean and the location was excellent They took the payment from my card twice and took hours and hours of me standing in reception to sort it out while I was accused of lying about having paid for the room in advance . The breakfast was appaling

Covenient for dockyard and restaurants. Lighting insufficient to work by, several little lights, no big one. Bed not fixed so rolled across room whenever I sat up to read. Only a basic serve yourself breakfast. It was overpriced, an Ibis or Premier would have been half the price for such a room.

Location was excellent, our son lives in Gosport and we could easily access the Gosport ferry to his home, plenty of choice for eating places, while allowing us all to have a glass of wine. One thing in particular was the reception staff, on arrival and departure, were excellent.

The location was perfect, the breakfast is good. The mattress was very uncomfortable and in desperate need of being replaced. (The mattress was concave! And therefore I kept rolling into the middle, most uncomfortable)

Upon entering the room I saw a cobweb by the tv, I though the room was very small as I had my partner and our small toddler with me,there was only one chair in the room so my partner had to sit on the bed the whole time we were in the room.i wanted to heat up some milk for my toddler but there was no warming or microwave facilities.the room was very dissapointing for us I expected bigger as we were a family, also the room we were in had a joining door to the next room and we were woken up by them and could hear every thing they were saying at a very early hour , not fair when you have a toddler who needs her sleep.

The shared parking between the Hotel and the shoppers parking area was perfectly acceptable, and if you arrived at a very busy time and had to park at the furthest point from the Hotel it only involved a five minute walk. The problem was the lack of information both at the Hotel and on thier website as how to gain entry to the parking area. The Hotel does infact have it's own car park/Hotel entrance and this is signed on the roadway leading to the shoppers parking area, not easy to see at a busy time with cars nose to tail. If the sign on the road is seen and the Hotel customer takes that route then it is all to easy to go straight past the Hotel reception, because it is not signed, and into the car parking area , luggage and all. For the sake of a couple of signs and brief instructions on how to gain entry would make the whole process easier. This problem I found was shared by other Hotel users, and with that first impression puts one in the wrong frame of mind with the Hotel at the start of your stay. Once we were in complete with luggage we found the Hotel to be excellent.
