The room was ok, nice shower this hotel will pre-authorise your card...if you are using a debit card it takes 14days to get a refund back to your card after your stay. If you pay cash they hold a £50 deposit which is refundable on your check-out day. You are not made aware of this at any time of the booking, if people are staying there on a budget then it may be difficult |

Room was good with comfortable bed, excellent shower room and conveniently situated for an overnight stop prior to embarkation on a cruise. Breakfast comprehensive and well presented and served apart from the toast which was burnt one side and uncooked the other. The quite awful self service toaster! It should be scrapped. It spoiled an otherwise excellent breakfast. |

We thought the staff were very helpful and polite. And we were very impressed with the breakfast, a very nice selection and also included in the room price. And the fact that it had free parking was another bonus. Would def stay again. |

We enjoyed the comfort and the space we had in the room. The shower was excellent and the room was very quiet. We had a very colourful and clean cot which was installed for our little girl. We will stay at this hotel for our next trip to southampton depending on availability. Breakfast was also very good at the early hours. The only thing which was a problem was the Parking space. At the end we had to park on a disable space with the approval of the reception as there were no other space available. Five minutes later those spaces were also gone leaving no parking available to the hotel guest. |

There was very little choice at breakfast, it would have been nice to be given the choice of a cooked breakfast, and more choices of fruit as well as options like muffins for example. |

I ate in the hotel lounge and found the food a bit mediocre, not very warm and swimming in oil. I had the mushrooms to start and then the sundried tomatoes and goats cheese tagliatele. Although eatable it stopped me eating there for the second night. |

Staff were friendly and helpful. Feel that prices are a little high for after all just basic facilities. However most of these style of hotels are the same now. |
