Holiday Inn Express London Stansted  

Hotel clean & comfortable with aircon. For 1 night the room is just big enough for 2 adults & 2 children with 2 suitcases. There is a Starbucks, McDonalds & petrol station with snacks etc within a few mins walk. Hotel is close to airport but well sound proofed and there is a good timely transfer bus 04.00 - 00.30 @ £2 per adult (up to 16yr olds free) to the terminal. Paid £54 which included a light breakfast but we couldn't eat at 04.00. Worth the money as had an early flight and didn't want to drive at 02.00 with 2 kids. We would stay again for an early flight.

Its close to the airport, clean, tidy,the right price and we had stayed in this hotel before. We had a good breakfast before we set off to the airport to start our holiday.

Your basic airport hotel. Staff was very nice.

There was no single rooms available so it was a bit expensive for someone traveling alone. They charge you also for the bus trips to Stanstedt.

Bad desk service bad room lot diferent to the one in sheffield were I stay a lot food had to wait 15 mins for a sandwitch in the afternoon when hotel quite and it were of poor quality room bottom floor and very porky bath room poor bad smell wont be going there again had to go cross road in rain to get a meal got sorked

Hotel Staff were not very friendly or helpfull.

Although the hotel is 1km away from the Stansted airport, the bus service provided by the hotel charges 4£ per person for each trip. Going on foot with the luggage is hardly an option. Given the price charged for the room the hotel could easily provide the transport service to the airport for free. Anyhow there should be a message in the booking.com site for this hotel warning there will be this extra charge. Also there was no wireless internet connection in the room. For the high-speed connection you need to connect the cable to the wall, which is pretty out of date given most internet users in a hotel probably use their mobile phones to connect to the internet nowadays.

Near the airport London Stansted. There is a transfer to the airport by the cost of 3,00£ per person.

The bus was very crowded and most people could not take it. The hotel should have more buses available for the guests.

Close to airport, convenient for early morning flighys

Too expensive £ 3,00 + £ 3,00 for the 4-minute transfer to and from Stansted airport.

Breakfast not very inspiring, and certainly not as good as that offered by Premier Inns.

The hotel is a good "no frills" airport hotel. It was good value for money, close to the airport and the breakfast was fine.

The spare bed for the children was a little uncomfortable but ok for one night.

The holiday Inn Express is perfectly located-5 minutes on small coach- for a short stay when on early first flights from Stanstead Airport.

It was convenient place to stay en route to Stanstead Airport for an early morning flight to Marrakesh, however I wasn't aware that there was a Holiday Inn car park fee of £8.00 to pay upon check out, as this wasn't on the 'booking.com' website.
