Fabulous location for Alton Towers, amazing setting and the couple who run it are great
Everyone got a free upgrade apart from us
Owners are very friendly, lovely breakfast and perfect location for us as we were going to Alton towers.
A real home from home , lovely place and felt very welcome , breakfast was freshly cooked and the owners were brilliant.
Nothing to dislike
Hosts were very welcoming and nothign was too much trouble. Room and bathroom were very clean and nice little extras like shower gel and hand wash. Wi-fi was brilliant. Views were amazing and breakfast was yummy.
Lovely host, lovely breakfast, beautiful setting and great value for money. Anytime I'm down this way this will be my first call
Nice comfy bed. Good full cooked brekkie with juice, tea and coffee. Chalet well equipped and very clean. Great host.
Very warm welcome and excellent facilities, apple cottage has the added bonus of a kitchen area, which makes staying with young children a lot more flexible.
- great location for Alton Towers - very friendly people - flexible breakfasts which was great for our family - very clean
Very friendly enjoyable stay. Comfortable . Great to come back too after an exhausting day at Alton towers ! Wi fi excellent and a must witha 13 year old.
Very nice, location very good for Alton towers, owners very friendly.
The sofa bed was very uncomfortable because of a very thin mattress, this was the only down side of the accommodation.
We took our 3 year old daughter and our 12 year old son and stayed in apple tree chalet and it was fantastic! Great facilities very hospitable staff and amazing surroundings. We would highly recommend exmoor bed and breakfast and will definitely be returning.
The chalet was lovely and clean. Spotless!! We had twin beds in the bedroom and used the sofa bed in the lounge. Gorgeous views and peace and quiet, even though the owner said we were very close to Alton Towers (but you would never know it was there). Tasty breakfast and friendly reception from the owner.
The sofa bed was not very comfortable, so only a good, otherwise would have been excellent all round.
nice bathroom. good views. good soap, tea, coffee etc was the best of stuff. not cheap ones which was a plus.
our room looked out on to the drive. not private at all. not so much milk or water. lady asked use if we wanted tea and biscuits and would leave in the lounge but no sign. owners kept to their side of the house until breakfast. do not take dogs due to their dog does not get on with other dogs. also they have a cat. one towel between two people. very small bed for a double.
Great location for alton towers. Kitchen+bathroom in chalet well equipped and laid out. Friendly owners and thier pets. The view and seating on the outside decking. 2x fridges
No negative points.
The friendliness of our hosts the facilities the location and a wonderfull breakfast . If you book for more than 1 night you get a discount aswell we will certainly be going back. It was my partners birthday and they got her a card and cake way above what you would get in 99% of other places
Nothing at all
Really friendly welcome, helpful advice, really clean. Good value for money
Beds a little small and rooms very hot. Could have air conditioning installed or a large fan
Quiet country setting, yet close to numerous different "tourist" activities. Very nice hosts, great to chat with and they provided good ideas for day trips. Not to mention the excellent full Engish breakfast each morning! Whether you're going for a weekend to Alton towers or staying close to your child who's at a Manchester United camp for the week (like I was) this is a great place to stay and an excellent value. I will definitely book again if returning to the area!
We stayed in the chalet and the amenities were excellent - very clean, finished to a high standard with all aspects catered. However, it was John, the host who was superb - making all of us feel comfortable and 'at home.' Great value for money and I would rate the whole experience very high indeed.
We were made to feel very welcome, breakfast was lovely. Will definately be returning in the future.
Friendly and very hospitable
We stayed in the lodge. It was lovely. The children had a fantastic time. We booked last minute and were fortunate that the lodge was avaliable. The owners were really friendly and we were provided with a lovely breakfast both days. It was only a 10minute drive from alton towers so we could make the most of cebeebies land! Would love to go back and would highly recommend exmoor bed and breakfast!
A really warm welcome, a cosy family lodge and very close to Alton Towers.
Nothing, everything was absolutely fantastic.
We arrived quite late, but greeted to a warm welcome. Son had a take away KFC and plates and everything immediately provided. Room was excellent and very comfortable, wide choice at breakfast and nothing too much trouble, would highly recommend this B & B.
pretty well everything
being very critical walls around windows in wooden cabin need finishing of with some kind of edging .
