Our first time visiting Bath and very impressed with the historical city, especially the Roman Baths. A guided tour by English Heritage was very interesting. We loved exploring the passageways between the streets too.

Hotel breakfast could be improved upon - orange juice had a strange taste, scrambled egg/sausages not very appetising. Unfortunately, the weather was very bad which meant there was little to do after 6 pm except go for a meal or a film (though we did attend the Theatre on our first evening, which we enjoyed). A concert would have been nice for our second night.

Friendly and professional reception, breakfast room and housekeeping staffs. Central location, excellent room condition, free overnight parking, and a delicious buffet breakfast (upgrade over any US Holiday Inn Express property).

The ability to leave the car in the car park once checked out. This facility will assure that I recommend the hotel to others.

Breakfast was a bit if a scrum. Shower needed to be more powerful.

We were there for a holiday weekend of 3 days. The booking was made in two separate bookings, one for friday night and one for the next two nights. We had to change rooms. When we returned to the hotel at night they had over booked the hotel and given away our room despite us staying the night before and giving us our room number in the morning. They made no attempt to contact us in early evening to warn us which resulted in our weekend being ruined. At 9.30 pm we had to travel in a car an hour in the dark to stay in an airport hotel in the middle of nowhere rather in the lovely city of bath.

Very clean and comfortable, good breakfast and good customer service. We had a slight problem which was handled efficiently and courteously and we were happy with the outcome. I'd definitely stay here again.

My only reservation is that I was reluctant to walk back to the hotel after dark from the city centre. It wasn't a problem during the day as it was only a 10 minute walk but as 2 females we would only do it in daylight.

Good location for exploring the city centre. The room was modern and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Having to pay extra for parking on top of highly priced room. Could hear the lift motor from our room which was quite noisy whilst trying to get to sleep. Could also hear people talking, toilets being flushed,doors being closed and hair dryers being used in neighbouring rooms which was very frustrating whilst trying to sleep.

We were very happy with the conditions of the hotel and its situation, the breakfast was very good for us as we only eat a small one. The staff were always very helpful and parking our car in a disabled space came without charge when we had expected to pay £8 per day.

There were 2 things we did not like: 1) whereas the room was adequate for our needs the fact that there was only one chair was disappointing. 2) the air-conditioning system was directly over one of the beds which meant that it was very draughty when we were in bed and it was made worse by the fact that the fan did not turn off. given that there was only 1 chair, when we wanted to watch television after an evening meal, one of us had to sit ion the bed.

The location of the hotel was slightly out of town.

The efficiency off moving us to another room after a very uncomfortable first night. the helpfulness of your reception staff throughout our stay.

The carpark charges

0700 - 1100 buffet breakfast so each member of our group could get up when they wanted & still get breakfast. very helpful desk staff who coped wtih our complicated checking in process since group meembers arrived at different times! Late check out at 1300 allowed us to have lunch first. Newspapers. Seating area and tourist info. car park. walking distance into city.

Our room keys were temperamental! There coud dhave been more information leaflets available e.g. opening times of the various attractions and what's on.

The size of the room was good as was the off street parking.

I didn't like having to pay for parking.

The location for the city was great, the staff were friendly and helpfull. It was very clean.

Being given a room on the third floor, with the noise from the water tanks keeping me awake all night , had to change rooms the next day to get a good nights sleep. The breakfast wasn't up to normal hotel standards, sausage , egg , and beans , there was sufficient to eat with the other foods available. If I sayed there again would ask for a quite room. A good location, not too far to walk into the city. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were smart, polite and helpful.

Allthough the bed was comfortable it was on the small size bearing in mind other simular uk hotels.
