Lovely cheerful, very obliging staff at Reception. Great breakfast choice of foods and plenty of same. One did not feel 'watched' while eating. Excellent secure, easily accessible private car park. Room was first class We liked the tea making facilities and the complementary newspapers. Overall we really enjoyed The Holiday Inn and will definitely recommend it and other Holiday Inns to others. If we return to Belfast we will undoubtedly stay with you. A slight blemish may have been the absence of rte tv channels.

We liked the cleanliness of the room and the fact that the bar stays open until 3am. The food was ok. The Irish staff were professional and friendly. This was the same with all of the wonderful Irish people we met on our break. The cooked breakfast food was very limited and the scrambled egg was disgusting - a solid, bland block of pale yellow stuff. You had to carve a lump out of it! The non-Irish waiting staff were sullen and slow. Tables were not cleared - we had to do it ourselves. One morning I had to ask for the table to be set. The waitress came along and threw the cutlery down and I had to lay it out myself. We had one evening meal at the hotel simply for convenience. The waitress cleared 3 of our plates and asked if we would like to see the dessert menu. I pointed out that our son was still eating his main course. Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms were mean. There was one tea bag and one mini milk carton per person per day. I have used the Holiday Inn on many previous occasions, but never an Express - and I never will again.

The beds were comfy and the shower was great! The walls are paper thin and noisy guests, eg hens partys, keep you up all night! The buffet breakfast was the worst i've ever seen - filty floor and surfaces. Food left there for ages / no food left. Dirty glasses and tables. Dirty utensils. Staff are not bothered to clean as they go.

It had all the facilities that we needed. A large room with the comfort of a setee/bed that enabled us to sit, read and watch tv. Parking at the rear was secure and convenient. It was in the university area with a good atmosphere and a good range of cafes and restaurants. it was also within easy walking distance of the city centre and the Waterfront Hall where the show we were attending was held.

Fast and efficient booking in at the reception.....Helpful and pleasant staff. There was some items not there at breakfast time....such as milk, sausages etc....a better hot selection would have been more acceptable.
