Car Parking on site - security guard was exceptionally helpful when I arrived very late at night.

Breakfast - limited options and the cooked breakfast looked very unappetising. Other than the sausage and egg in the cooked breakfast I saw no other protein based foods. On the bedroom corridors as you walk along there are hollow areas under the floor and late at night, no matter how quietly you try to walk, they are very noisy.

Beds comfy, rooms spacious. Very good shower. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.

Tv in room was really outdated and the rooms were very tired, needed some tlc.

Location Breakfast

The staff were very friendly at check in and check out. The room was spacious. The wi-fi worked well. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. It was close enough to the train station.

Staff were very professional, approachable and helpful. Even the cleaning staff smiled and said good morning. This made me feel genuinely welcome. The hotel was clean and well organised. Even though it was full, it did not feel crowded and was not noisy at night.

The car park is pretty tight. Some better signage might have helped me work out where I was going.

Lack of Wi-Fi

The staff were very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. We found the room clean, comfortable and equipped with all the necessary essentials and were happy with the later breakfast time over the weekend.

As the hotel was pretty central with many restaurants nearby, the lack of a good evening meal wasn't an issue but, if we had wanted to stay in the hotel to eat, the take-away selection would have been a disappointment as it was very basic.

Good value, clean and god location for City Centre

Staff were really helpful and friendly, were also responsive to additional needs. Rooms were nice and comfortable too.

Paying extra for parking (unaware of this), and then so much. Also no hotel signs at eye level of a driver view, but maybe most residents arrive via train/taxi?

Very close to city centre, good choice of bars/restaurants close by. Didn't need to use car once there.

The location was good, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast selection was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Sounds like I'm being picky, but I thought the decor in the bedrooms was tired looking and dated, however saying that it was very clean. The bed was too soft and bouncy and dipped in the middle.

Very handy location, short walk to train station. Free WiFi, always a big plus!
