Friendly and helpful recpetion staff Quiet room Clean
The food - Chilli con carne had no chilli and tasted like it was made using a packet mix. Breakfast was pretty bland also.
The receptionist smiled
very hard bed, torn net curtains, intermittent tv,excessive noise from car park and road(which was a reasonable distance away) terrible breakfast tasteless sausage bland scrambled eggs very poor choice of mass produced plastic food. The cheek of adding£3 per day to use hotels own car park!!!!
Have stayed in the prem inn nearby, preferred this express inn for comfort, ease of access and restaurant.
Paying for car parking even with a business credit card sucks..... Add to the hotel cost and do away with it please!!!
There was a charge for overnight parking that I was not aware of when the reservation was made. Three pounds per night was charged. This should be clear when booking. The breakfast was OK but I expected better from a Holiday Inn.
Easy check-in Clean rooms Helpful staff
Breakfast - very poor
Staff were really helpful and friendly hotel clean and tidy.would recommend the hotel but would warn about the breakfast.
Cooked breakfast was not good ,eggs didn't taste of anything and a lack of bacon tomatoes mushrooms and fried eggs was highly missed.
We were attending a wedding at a local hotel and found the location of the Holiday Inn Express perfect for our needs. Hotel was very clean and comfortable.
Having to pay £3 for parking!!
Location close to the event I was attending. Friendly helpful staff. Basic but plentiful breakfast. Late bar. Secure car park.
Limited choice in the bar.
Staff, location, local information on hand & great breakfast!
That we couldnt stay a little longer!
The hotel was brilliant for where I was attending St George's Park, was reasonably cheap, the quality of the rooms were good and the meals were great.
Friendly staff and a great bed.
1. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. 2. The room was clean and comfortable. 3. The breakfast had a very good choice. 4. The stay was value for money.
I had no grounds to criticise.
Business park location, personally I would have preferred to be in the old town or in the country.
No complaints everything was fine.
Buffet breakfast and coffee machine. Corner house steak bar around corner excellent food.
Car park fee , we didn't have to pay as booked before came in but would have booked another hotel if had to pay
Friendly staffs, good service, great breakfast, comfortable beds,
Easy to find and park, eat at the hotel or nearby, friendly staff, clean hotel
Friendly, helpful staff
Having to pay for parking.
Good bathroom for disabled person Helpful staff Good breakfast
Problem with door entry to room Getting out of car park
Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast was very poor! We were put in a room to accommodate the disabled which would not usually be a problem but the bed was a small double that wasn't the most comfortable!
Helpful staff and clean new carpet.
Mattress could do with an upgrade.
Location suited my requiremts and allowed food and shopping options in close proximity. Had quality in basic needs.
Could be improved leisure wise, with improved standard of TV to allow hdmi connection for consoles or DVD players and expanded channel selection for variation of viewers, ie sport!
Everything was fine, No problems whatsoever.
There was nothing to dislike.
Ideal location for the start of our holiday and visit to alton towers staff at breakfast were excellent and variety was more than Enough
It was centrally placed for our needs and was a pet friendly hotel. The relaxed atmosphere in the bar area and the plentiful hot drinks at all times of the day and night.
The wifi was very feeble at times and made communication difficult. We even tried in the reception area but that was the same.
