Easy to find and park, eat at the hotel or nearby, friendly staff, clean hotel
Friendly, helpful staff
Having to pay for parking.
Good bathroom for disabled person Helpful staff Good breakfast
Problem with door entry to room Getting out of car park
Helpful staff and clean new carpet.
Mattress could do with an upgrade.
Location suited my requiremts and allowed food and shopping options in close proximity. Had quality in basic needs.
Could be improved leisure wise, with improved standard of TV to allow hdmi connection for consoles or DVD players and expanded channel selection for variation of viewers, ie sport!
Everything was fine, No problems whatsoever.
There was nothing to dislike.
It was centrally placed for our needs and was a pet friendly hotel. The relaxed atmosphere in the bar area and the plentiful hot drinks at all times of the day and night.
The wifi was very feeble at times and made communication difficult. We even tried in the reception area but that was the same.
The beds were comfortable, the room was clean.
Being charged £3.00 for parking when I have paid £59.00 for a room for one night! Why have you started to do this?
The location was close to the job
Charging for the car park, I had issues with the pass key four out of the five days, and one day the chef was not starting work until 7.30pm. Which for me was a little too late to eat.
Friendly & helpful staff
Paying for parking Not told it was a disabled room Poor TV system No easy chair in room
spacious room, good breakfast, helpful staff
air conditioning loud and traffic noise from a38 if you open window
comfy bed. clean room's. excellent staff. breakfast served until 10am
Car park charges. Windows not opening wider so stuffy at night. No bacon or choice of eggs at breakfast
Liked position for Catton Hall flyball championships and hotel accepted dogs in rooms and bar area, even took my dog with us to breakfast. Will definitely recommend hotel to friends with dogs. The bar eating area had a nice atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Having to pay an extra charge of £3.00 for car parking and left only one set of towels in the room for two people.
Staff were friendly from the time I arrived to the time I left over a 3 day period, nothing was to much trouble. The ability to get a decent cup of coffee at any time in the breakfast area
Limited choice for the cooked breakfast, but everything else was fine
The hotel is easy to find and get to (by car), the staff are very friendly and the room was tidy.
There is a surcharge to park your car. The WiFi network was undetectable by my laptop or my phone even though signs in the room said "Free WiFi Even Here!" There were ants running around in the shower, and the shower gel dispenser was broken and fell apart with a clatter all over the shower floor when I tried to use it. The bathroom door is positioned so that you can't use the basin and mirror unless you actually shut the door. The lift broke down, and the breakfast was underwhelming. None of these are major issues but altogether they added up to persuade me not to use this hotel again.
it was very relaxing plenty of good restaurants close by
Lots of places to eat nearby, and close to the main road network.
Air con very poor can't even tell when it is on. Disgusting smell from the plug hole in the bathroom sink. Having to pay for parking
friendliness and helpfulness of staff
Paying to park my car
Cleanliness, location with access to nearby shops, supermarket and restaurants, friendly and helpful staff, quiet area for a good night sleep.
Staff were very helpful. An early check in was wonderful. Thanks again!
Staff very helpful. Room clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast.
large comfortable bed.
breakfast finished just after 10 on the sunday morning
The narrow space for people to access their breakfast. Very difficult especially for people using a walking stick.
