The hotel staff were particularly nice

the price and were it was

the breakfast the coffee great the sosages were hard and scrambled eggs were poor

staff were very friendly and helpful and location was very good

room was not that good tiles in the bathroom were broken and bed had a rip in the cloth

Everything about this hotel is budget except for the price! In common with budget airlines the headline price appears reasonable but once I added in the £5 per night car parking charge and £9 per day for Wifi I could have stayed at a better standard of hotel for the same price. From the cutlery at breakfast to the bedroom furniture everything is the cheapest that money can buy.

Terrible hotel. Only 1 plug socket in the room worked, the window was broken and it looked liked it had been poorly attempted to be fixed with foam stuck to try and seal up the gap. Booked for breakfast but it was not mentioned and could find no information about it anywhere.

The young lady who checked us in gave us a fantastic first impression of the hotel and we were not let down.

Having stayed at a Holiday Inn twice before was a bit disappointed by the lack of luxery at an Express Inn,may be my mistake,will look more closely next time.Parking charges also up to individual hotels I was told,you may need to revise this for people who stay more than one night.

Had a most enjoyable few days stay here. HIE is close to all amenities, whether on foot, bus or car, but will have to make a return visit, as we didn't get to see everything we wanted to. Receptionists were all pleasant and very helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and facing the canal as requested.

The downfalls being the shower was cold on one morning. Was surprised a car parking charge was made! Lift on second floor was not working, and we struggled to carry our suitcase down the stairs!

inicially the room was cold but it was resolved by a staff who gave me spare heater

Location is good, very close to the bay, cheap parking, staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was full, no place to sit, few options. The internet costs 9 pounds for only one device. Our room was adapted and the shower would leave the hole bathroom soaking wet, we hat to use the bath towels to dry the floor. Heating not working, had to ask for 2 more duvets. Overall not a good option, for the same price we could have stayed in other hotels in the area with better facilities.

For the price paid the room was very small, the tea and coffee were sparse, one of the lights did not work and the taps in the bathroom sink leaked. All in all there was no value for money and we would be very reluctant to use your facilities ever again

Good location, not to far from anything. Nice and friendly and helpful. Room quite spacious

Windows were a bit drafty and didn't always close properly.

The welcoming staff when we arrived. Particularly Barry who was so helpful and friendly.

I couldn' get an iron as they were all out but the staff didsn't know who which rooms they had hired the irons to. I would suggest a note is made of where they are.

Location was fabulous and staff were very friendly and well informed. Bar area overlooking waterside very comfortable and relaxed.
