Excellent value, staff and all round environment. Very difficult to fault. A hotel car park would be icing on the value cake

Normally stay at another hotel when in Cheltenham but as 2 of us were travelling I was attempting to keep costs down. However, read the small print for this hotel. There is no parking so the local ncp has to used (£9.50/day), the internet is extra (I was charged £15 one night and £7 the next) so it all adds upto the price I would normally pay anyway. Personally I wouldn't stay here again, or any other Holiday Inn, never really had a great experience with them on the occasions that I have stopped.

With this being a relatively new hotel you would expect it to be clean but it was exceptionally clean and tidy. Reception and bar staff were first class and extremely friendly. Perfect location for a city break.

Upon checking in the staff were more than helpful, polite and very friendly. The location was superb.. And the fact we could use 'Fitness First facilities just opposite the Hotel was excellent.. The breakfast was excellent too and a vast choice to choose from. We would definatley be back again and recommend the Hotel to family and friends..

We were advised not to use the Matalan car patk but to use the ncp car par. We did notce however that Holiday Inn staff utilised the Matalan car park- conflicting!

The hotel was very nice. Very clean. Staff polite. Unfortunately we had a room on the corner of the building so there were two windows which was noisy. Used phone in room, very, very expensive.

Very clean, staff efficient and a super crisp clean cot ready for our small baby who slept all night! More toasters required at breakfast, the qeues for some members of our family were crazy, all caused by alot of people trying to use one toaster!!

Clean public toilet on ground floor and good qulaity Bathroom inside Guest room. Reasonable hotel to access the whole town, close to the high street and easy to access with near by car park, But services like breakfast, room services are fair or might even be classified as poor, I will noyt recommend this hotel to any one unless the price become less than 50 gbp. The internt service is quite poor with low speed and exepnsive, Hotel managemnet need to review the service and put a reasonable charge.

Location is good Bed uncomfortable. Breakfast very, very poor. Disgusting inedible scrambled egg, hard baked beans, coffee didn't even taste like coffee, dry old sliced bread, greasy pastries. Really horrible experience, didn't eat anything.............

Nice spacious and welcoming entrance and bar. Very friendly and welcoming receptionist. Free map of town was very useful. Free newspaper and breakfast news on tv in breakfast room was appreciated. Good location - just what we looking for. Bed - very cheap and unstable, and small. Mattress - too soft. Staff had no idea where there was a decent pub. Breakfast - cheap ingrediants made it very disappointing. Over priced.

The price is right and I very much appreciate being able to use the gym. The location also is quite nice. A bit noisy, but not sure how you could get around that. I think that is the nature of the area.

The location of the reception, I found this too close to the bar and the music from the bar was so loud it made it difficult to hear what the receptionist was saying when we were booking in.
