My room 228, deadlock would not lock, I asked for someone to check it, they did..."sorry about that, hotel is fully booked!! you should be safe enough!!!"
Woken up by Housekeeper at 06.40am next morning she was knocking on the door with a key! when I opened the door, she shouted down the corridor, "I knocked on your door as its shows as a no show on my list"... I overslept having been woken so early, was late for breakfast, receptionist was helpful, she went to collect what was left....luke warm sausages, cold scrambled egg, dried up baked beans!! cold plates for breakfast too...I asked if bacon was available..."no we don't have it here", I have had bacon in other Hilton Express'. then the cleaned started vacuuming the floor in the restaurant area!! I wouldn't stay there again...I highlighted these issues to the check out receptionist, she wasnt that bothered, but said that she would credit my IHG members card with some points...whoopee do...would have preferred no issues!.
The check in Receptionist was very helpful.
