Score from 401 reviews Good
Friendly staff great location
Good standard of accommodation at a very reasonable price including breakfast. Child friendly
staff were helpful but very noisy hotel, breakfast had shortages , so it was toast
very noisey hotel after 11am, I walked the corridor to locate noisy ROOMS and a elephant above us, reception did ask them to quieten down but 1 am when it got quiet to sleep
It was nice and clean and quiet. Breakfast was good.
The hairdryer was a bit feeble. The sofa bed for the boys was quite uncomfortable.
Clean room Breakfast a bonus
Sofa Bed very uncomfortable
Not very much
Went down for breakfast on two occasions only to find the breakfast hall looking like a bunch of savages had been through it upon politely complaining to management on checkout I was stunned when the lady shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do. Very poor response from a hotel staff member!!!
Value for money Convenient for A1 Lovely staff Spacious and comfortable room Breakfast better than expected
the room is big, sfaff is very helpful
the place is near the highway but is not so easy to reach
Value for money
Distance from racecourse toen - was told it was walking distance - but wasn't
Good price, clean, comfortable double bed.
Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable to the point that my 7 year old couldn't get to sleep.
Clean room, great location and friendly competent staff!
The ironing room made me a little uncomfortable as I was in there with a stranger
It is really, really stupid to have hotels with such similar names in the same areas of the same city. Staff should warn customers - or better still they should change one of the names. Of course, the taxi took us to the wrong one. Staff say this happens all the time. WAKE UP HOLIDAY INN!
Staff friendly and helpful. Towels soft and fluffy.
Bedroom small, hanging rail broke, sink plug didn't fit, shower head leaked in every direction. cooked breakfast limited ( scrambled egg, burnt mushrooms and sausages) Could hear noise from the bar in room until 2am. Wi fi only available if you 'log on' to an outside site so didn't bother! If I had paid £35-40 then maybe expected but I paid twice as much plus!
Room was clean, ideal for a one night stay. TV, hairdryer, free wi.fi. Comfy bed, pillows marked as soft or hard. Hotel was just about full, staff did well to keep tables clear in the morning during the breakfast "rush".
Can't say there was anything about the place. Taxis were a long wait if you go to a function/races etc book a taxi prior to arriving in some cases a 45 min wait. Although the inn did have a list of all taxis on front desk
Having a room with a interconnecting door made it rather loud and disturbed our sleep
Location. Ease of check in and out.
Were given a room on 2nd floor - was n it told this was smoking floor. Room smelt very unpleasant and caused poor sleep. How can smoking in a hotel still be permitted!?!
Value or money was good,
The women staff were really rude! I was put in a smokers room so asked to change as I can't stand the smell and the room stunk!! I paid for four people, when moved rooms the room was set for two people, the staff were then very rude to a friend that stayed with us asking why we had 3 people in the room that was only set for two. The phone didn't work in the hotel so we asked if we could use the phone downstairs as we had no other way of calling a taxi to which then the woman really snapped down the phone "come to reception" and put the phone down on me! Iv always stayed at premier inn and will defiantly never go back to holiday in express in a hurry!!! (Doncaster)
The double bed was of a very poor standard. The mattress kept sinking in the middle. The sofa bed was no better it had a hard bit halfway along the middle (hinge). This was very uncomfortable. The back of my legs were sore in the morning. Having said all that I can't complain about the price and the breakfast. It was very good for the money. If the beds were of a better standard I would give 10 out of 10.
Clean rooms Excellent nights sleep Great breakfast Friendly and helpful staff
Could do with a few more tables and chairs in the breakfast area
Good standard of comfort clenliness and accessibility.
Nothing worth mentioning.
Excellent value, lounge bar area very welcoming after a hard days work, food and drinks excellent value
Noisey guests I assume getting up at 4.am to go to the airport!!! No respect for other guests who are trying to sleep.
This hotel was perfect for our over night stay as it was 30 minutes from Doncaster Airport and was great value for money, pub within walking distance and macdonalds and other fast food places 5 minute drive away.
