It was close enough to access all the local attractions and travel links as required We felt that the bed was too soft and not very comfortable |

Room very clean and newly fashioned, location near the Royal Mile, good and friendly staff No wardrobe in the room, space too small to stay more then 1-2 days. Smoking is forbidden in all hotel territory (100 pounds penalty) and no smoking room, so, in spite of weather, you must go outside |

The hotel is located very close to the old city centre, including shops, musea etc. Breakfast was pretty nice. Overall design is functional but not creating any special atmosphere. Rooms are small sized; no cupboard for clothing, no bath, just 1 chair. |

The friendliness and assistance of the staff. The breakfast room and food serving areas were a bit cramped. I think it would be an improvement if the couches in that area were removed as they are not being used by people at breakfast. |

Rerception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The walls of the rooms are incredibly thin so don't expect a sound proof night!. We were woken up very early by someone playing music in the next room and then by housekeeping wanting to clean our room even though we were checking out an hour later! It would have been nice if they had waited! |

It was in a very convenient location to the castle, the Royal Mile, and the train station. The staff went out of their way to help us, all the while with a cheerful spirit. We had trouble connecting with the internet. |

The professionalism of the staff and the respect of minimum standards for a three star hotel. The location was great. The breakfast was a bit poor. |

Excellent location, with helpful service, at competitive price. Unable to modify the in-room air conditioning temperature - too hot. Opening windows, so was able to cool room but at environmental and noise cost. |

Excellent location and buffet breakfast. The water did not drain well down the plug hole in the shower tray. We had to keep turning off the water to prevent it from overflowing. |

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Arriving early and using luggage storage was no problem and was well organised. The hotel was in a quiet street and well positioned for sightseeing and shopping and within easy reach of the airport shuttle bus stop. Breakfast was good. |
