Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a nice choice of fruit cereal breads and jams. It was close to main attarcations and midway between town and parliament buildings. Road up to the old town dingy and dark, a bit noisey at night and better to avoid going that way to the hotel. |

Both me and my wife liked its modern, international atmosphere, the excellent bathroom (a rarity in medium range hotels in Britain) the cleanliness of the place and the absolute friendliness of the staff. The location is also great. It's a pity there is no carpark, but the NCP nearby worked well. I would like only one improvement: the continental breakfast might include some cold cuts as well. The breakfast was too heavy on the sweet side. |

We prefer English breakfast rather than Continental, the central heating was not working at the night we stayed, but the staff provided us with heater (that was uncomfortable to switch it on/off during the night) |

The location was good for a city break to Edinburgh. The service and the staff were friendly and attentive and were keen to be of assistance. The room was small and lacked any drawers for putting clothes in and the hanging facilities for garments were exposed and limited. |

The staff was very helpful. The location is very central, yet without much noise. No fridge. Breakfast area is a bit impractical (difficult to get around due to lack of space). |

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room 107 had a nice view of the garden. One night there was noise from one of the rooms in the early hours. |

Courteous and helpful staff. In spite of reserving a twin room, it was a double. However, when we approached staff re. this they promptly came and made up the sofa bed for us Not as easy to find as I anticipated. Possibly clearer directions would be helpful. I am not sure if they stated which exit to use at Waverly Station. |

This hotel had a great location and was excellent value for money. Very close to the royal mile so just a short walk to see so much. The staff were friendly and the room clean with everything that one needs when on holiday. |

Location was ideal for the Royal Mile. Room was spot on. Clean, large enough and well equipped for the price we paid. Little crowded for breakfast on Sunday morning. It would appear the hotel was full and everyone wanted to eat at 9am. |
