Close to the tunnel.

Take away breakfast. Not good. Town is run down. Nowhere to eat of any note.

Easy to find off the M20, and handy for the Channel Tunnel terminal.

Poor selection of breakfast cooked items, consisting of 3 items, sausages - which sadly looked like they'd been dragged across a joiners workshop!, some lukewarm baked beans, and something resembling scrambled egg.

Room and facilities in it.

Limited dinner menu and high menu prices.

I have stayed here several times over the last few years, and I know what to expect. Rooms are clean, adequate size, well stocked. Restaurant is not gourmet standard, but ok and well priced. Very convenient for the tunnel and reasonably priced. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when travelling from the uk to France.

There was no bacon on the breakfast buffet, only sausage. But not really important, because I don't normally take breakfast.

Ease of access to Eurotunnel. Helpful reception staff who gave us a list of local restaurants - but you need to drive to them. And we highly recommend the Gurkha Palace - superb staff, food and value - if you can find it!

Lift was not working, ice machine not working. Breakfast was pretty basic - Plastic sausages, rubber scrambled eggs and cardboard quoissants - but the selection of tea was good!

I would like to see bacon on breakfast menu, although staff were helpful repleinishing beans and scrambled egg, also the tv didnt work in 1 of our rooms, as we arrived late we didnt bother to ring reception, and there was no parking space so we parked on the road, which was ok I suppose.

I booked for my sister (65) mother (90) father (86 of age) it suited them admirably, whilst wife and I stayed in our camper van locally. All I can give is a thumbs up 100% in disabled orientation. The breakfast was indeed scrumptious, they stated. Will use Holiday inns from here on in more often. Well done to all working there and Thank You.

The only thing that slightly marred my families stay, other than breakfast, was the evening menu, it wasn't to seniors tastes. We all ate out at a restaurant which catered individually

Close to Eurotunnel Terminal

The room was comfortable and clean

Having to order food at the bar in front of a queue of customers. The quality of the food was awful. Long waits to get served with one member of staff one reception, behind the bar and serving food. Poor guy!

I liked how the sofa bed was all ready and made for my children when we got our room. Other hotels we've stayed at have left that to us to do. Also I think the option to have the breakfast as a ' takeaway' was really good as we had an early start. The location was excellent too!

The main plus of this hotel is that it is ideally situated 5 minutes from the euro tunnel. The restaurant serves a decent evening menu and the breakfast was excellent. We stopped on both outward and return journeys and both rooms were very clean and comfortable.
