Holiday Inn Express, Hamilton  

We were delighted with the accommodation and the breakfast being included in the price was excellent and made it even more better value for money. Would come back.

It's very convienantly located with shopping just round the corner. The rooms are immaculately maintained and always clean and tidy. The rooms are quiet and spacious. I would to to thank Tracy the night time staff for making my stay more comfortable. She was friendly and chatty and made me feel wecolme she deserves a raise. All in all a great stay at the holiday in express well done and will certainly return. Well done!

I would have preferred the breakfasts time to be later as I was out late I did not get up in time to enjoy the breakfast. 10:30Am would have been better!

Convenient to get to town centre and plenty on complex, ie food outlets, asda, cinema - hotel very clean and staff helpful.

We found the internet connection extremely slow, to the point that on one occasion we asked for our money back. We think the internet connection should be improved.

It was located in the place that best suited my business needs.

It was cheaper than the other hotels near by.

There was no air conditioning in the room and it was very warm, there was no meals being served around dinner time which was disappointing and we had to 'buzz' into the hotel after our night out and took a while for someone to let us in.

Central for the area I needed and near to relatives whilst visiting Hamilton. Room was excellent - roomy and very useful for my husband who has mobility issues. Staff friendly and helpful.

It was very noisy on & off on the first night (28th) about 1.30am and again at 4am by the same people (1st floor), therefore lack of sleep after a long journey there! Staff were notified the next morning but apparently the 'people' responsible had left the hotel on the morning of 29th.

Location was good.

I am shocked that a guest cannot get free wifi in their room. £6.00 an hour is extortionate! While i apprciate you can get free wifi at reception, I am shocked a guest cannot have this in the room they are paying for. The hotel in Pitlochry gives it for free and other hotels charge £1.00 for 24 hours. Needing to access business email and having to drag my laptop downstairs is ridiculous! Room 417 toilet flush very hard to push in to flush the toilet.

Very comfortable room with nice heater, great shower and best of all we made a cuppa in the morning in our room with the brewing gear provided, friendly staff oh and a lovley breakfast, no complaints at all, will deffinatley stay again when in Hamilton.

Clean, modern hotel right in the centre of town. All you can eat breakfast makes it excellent value if there are 2 people in the room. We were a little bit worried when we found ourselves in one of the rooms closest to the nightclub that has been mentioned by other reviewers, but, although we could hear a bit of noise, it was not really a problem.

Internet charges.

The hotel had free wifi in the lobby. The bed wasn't uncomfortable and the receptionist was polite

The listing said car parking available on site but really it was the cinema car park next door. The noise from the street went on till after 3 at night. It was Saturday. There was chanting and car horns till then. The glazing on the windows did little to keep the noise out. My advice us don't go on Saturday night, and probably you can find somewhere nicer and just as good a price nearby.

The hotel staff were very friendly, rooms comfortable, bar area nice- overall very good impression.

Next door to a noisy night club
