Holiday Inn Express, Hamilton  

easy to find. very good to have a smoking room instead of standing outside at 61/2 degrees in hamilton scotland

no facilities for eating in the evening. would have preferred to have parking facilities on site.

Bed was a bit too soft

Good food, excellent staff, good service.

Sofa bed lumpy and uncomfortable and the room was very dusty. We attended a funeral wearing black so the dust was a nuisance.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a prime location within the centre. We will be staying there again in July when we are down there next.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel apart from the noise. Apart from that its a lovely place to stop for business or pleasure. We found the location was central for visiting family on both the east coast and for family in the Glasgow and Ayrshire areas. We found there was plenty to do when we were not away visiting and that there were a variety of shops and restaurants near by. We also walked up into the town a couple of times. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff very helpful.

The main problem was the noise from the ajoining room. We did not complain at the time as we were not sure if it was the occupants or just the noise coming through the adjoining door and thought they may check out the next day. It was that loud we could hear their television over our own and they watched the television until the small hours, and again in the morning before 7am. My only other comment would be the sausages at breakfast were a bit dry. Would we stay again. Only if we could be guaranteed a room without an adjoining door.

Location, free parking, breakfast, free news paper, value for money, the whole experience was excellent.

It's very convienantly located with shopping just round the corner. The rooms are immaculately maintained and always clean and tidy. The rooms are quiet and spacious. I would to to thank Tracy the night time staff for making my stay more comfortable. She was friendly and chatty and made me feel wecolme she deserves a raise. All in all a great stay at the holiday in express well done and will certainly return. Well done!

I would have preferred the breakfasts time to be later as I was out late I did not get up in time to enjoy the breakfast. 10:30Am would have been better!

Convenient to get to town centre and plenty on complex, ie food outlets, asda, cinema - hotel very clean and staff helpful.

We found the internet connection extremely slow, to the point that on one occasion we asked for our money back. We think the internet connection should be improved.

It was located in the place that best suited my business needs.

It was cheaper than the other hotels near by.

There was no air conditioning in the room and it was very warm, there was no meals being served around dinner time which was disappointing and we had to 'buzz' into the hotel after our night out and took a while for someone to let us in.
