Holiday Inn Express Hull City Centre    

I liked that the room was very clean. I liked that there is hot food on offer for breakfast. I liked the close proximity to the shopping centre and the use of the car park. I liked that the staff were all friendly.

I didn't like that the friendly though receptionist was the only member of staff on duty when we arrived (around 8.30pm on a Sunday evening). This meant we had to wait until he was free (we went and had dinner at a near-by restaurant, though he still understandably busy when we returned) before receiving the extra linen needed for the children's sofa bed.When he finally came to our room, he said he wasn't sure how to pull out the sofa bed (though he did manage it). We also didn't like that the wi-fi wasn't working the following morning even when trying to use it in the foyer.

Easy to get to from station. Staff were helpful & friendly. Room was clean. Hairdryer was much better than others I've used in other hotels! If I'd forgotten anything, I could have asked at reception. Could easily regulate the temperature in the room.

Found the bed and pillows a little uncomfortable. The duvet was very thin and ideal for summer, but as the temperature was low at night it was inadequate. The breakfast was...functional! Would have liked more choice, but for the price I paid it was fine and it was as advertised, so I wasn't surprised!

Location superb

Good for location and would definitely stay there again.

Easy check-in / check-out

Well mannered friendly staff. Clean and modern facility. Convenient parking for city centre venue.

Whilst good value to include breakfast I would be prepared to pay a little more for better quality food.

Next to Hull Railway Station. Tea and coffee in room.

Soulless room with lights in the room not working, and not very good air con.

Central, rooms were made avaialble early as we were attending a funeral staff very helpful as we had never been to Hull Centre before, breakfast was more than continental! All in all I would certainly recommend.

Close to all the shops. Great for someone in a wheelchair as I am. :) own room for my care assistant. At no extra charge. :)

Having to pay £7.00 parking when the resturant in the shopping centre said he could have given me an exit ticket for £5.00 after we had a meal there and spent a lot less than at the hotel!!!!!!

The location was fine in the centre of everything required Shops ,Rail Station ,Bus Station, Pubs & Restaurants.

Breakfast a better choice not just the basic sausage & scrambled egg and beans.

Staff excellent, Rooms just the right size and where spotless.

The only thing I disliked was after handing in my card at checkout I had to haul our cases down the stairs to front exit

Location, it's right next to a shopping centre and large Tesco, cinema and restaurants. Also next door to train station. Easy access to access roads, and short distance to rugby stadiums. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was modern clean and comfortable.
