Holiday Inn Express Liverpool John Lennon Airport  

The food was practically inedible. It was a real let down for the Holiday Inn reputation and the Manager needs to address the situation urgently. MacDonalds serve far superior food!

We stayed one night prior to our early flight. we were woken at 5am by very loud music coming from the room next door. An hour later your security man arrived and turned it off. We were disappointed that the transfer bus was no longer available for transfers to the airport. Allltough it only cost s £2.50 to get there it was almost £6 return. next time we will try the hilton as it is nearer airport.

Food was terrible - pre-prepared meals not properly heated in the oven, I had the fish and chip option so cannot comment on the other meals.

The location near the airport is excellent, the staff friendly and efficient and the room comfotable and clean. The electricity tripped in our room about 11.30pm and being unable to reset we were given another room on the same floor and although a bit of a nuisence the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed on Thurs 1st Dec and were leaving early the following morning, 05.30, and decided to eat in the restaurant at the hotel, the menu is quite limited and our initial selection, fish and chips, was not available so we ordered a chicken curry and a burger and chips. When they arrived the curry was only warm and not very tasty and the burger was totally inedible, I think there was no kitchen staff and the receptionist/waitress was doing everything, including cooking which I think was all microwaved. An awful meal. We stayed on 12th Dec on our return from holiday but did not eat in the Hotel.

Morning staff

Very welcoming staff - informative and helpful. Room was fully prepared and comfortable. Our early flight meant early breakfast - this was available in a clean tidy area with a wide variety and choice. Satisfied with our choice of hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Easy to miss the barrier entrance to the car park when arriving if you are not familiar with this location. Minor point - but a small arrow signpost could help drivers avoid doing a u-turn after a long drive.

Value for money,good location,excellent airport access and friendly staff.

First Class Staff who went out of their way to enure that our stay was as comfortable as possible.

Good position near the airport. Good parking. Pleasant rooms and mediumrate breakfast. Also a good offer on the internet.

Close to the airport, very nice room, would have liked a english breakfast though flight would have been too early .
