Quick and easy to check in, staff were friendly and the accommodation was very clean and met our needs.

Not a place to stay more than 1-2 nights, but that is what I consider the Express part of your name to imply. So not really a dislike, but I think with your location you could cater for both types of traveller. The taxi firm you use are awful, the cab was dirty, smelly and the driver was not well dressed (and kept the radio on quite high) - and they were late, no apology.

Liked the location, the reception staff, especially Kelly, the cleanliness, the house keeping staff, the room inc bathroom. Overall very happy and will recommend to others.

The pillows were a little hard. No bacon or fried eggs available at breakfast. Not really a problem. Very minor concerns . Perhaps a courtesy bus to and from the airport would be nice. Airport taxis complain bitterly about such a short run to the hotel. Yet the taxi taking us to the airport was very nice .

Very friendly staff. They knocked the price of 3 nights parking off our bill without being asked because the booking.com website suggested it was free when in fact it was just the first night that was free. Clean and serviceable. Perfect for early morning transfer to airport.

Guests from hell who spent most of the night walking up and down the corridor talking loudly. Booking.com needs to correct the entry regarding parking on its website. Parking is free for however many nights you stay at the hotel but costs £8 per day otherwise.

The location was perfect for getting to Liverpool, Warrington and Manchester.

I stayed there 7 nights. We had to get keys re-coded every night. This was a hassle. I would also suggest staff slipping the gate code under the door each night, so that the guest doesn't have to stop at the desk every morning.

taking £30 a night deposit from my debit card and after 2days still not having it credited back to my card.this is after already being pre paid.

Location - close to where I needed to be

Lack of information from staff at the front desk; they did not advise me that additional money would be taken from my account and would not return for 7-10 days after my stay; additionally I was overcharged in error and yet they managed to refund the overcharge immediately....how is it one amount is addressed overnight and the other takes 7-10 days....??!!!

Great place for an early morning flight stop - minute from a car park. Good, quiet (!), very clean rooms. We paid £40 b & b - a bargain. Breakfast very limited in early hrs - we ate 4:30 am! - but cannot really complain - show another place which serves anything to eat at this time of the day - great idea!

Dinner at the evening v limited and microwave-like - so this is more like a sleeping only place; but, still, 4 am breakfast (even small) is a brilliant idea!

close to airport, good value for money

There was them most horrendous whistling noise in the corridor caused by the high wind, plus the TV signal was also affected, not great. Last time I stayed was fine so exceptional circumstances, but still...

Good quality airport hotel food not really good eat out if you can quite poor. Breakfast ok but no fab Staff very good and attentive

Electric heater in room did not work. We chose to report this the next morning as it was late and we did not want to move rooms. Bacon and a hotter breakfast would have been nice.

The breakfast. Booked with the free breakfast as the main reason. Very badly run . No plates . No staff . Soft sausages . Had to be quick to get anything. Made comment to reception staff, very uncomfortable doing this as the staff were very good

Wifi and room was clean

Breakfast was poor, little choice and also limited bar menu if you didn't like pizza or curry then you wouldn't eat. Thin duvets on bed despite weather being very cold.

Totally understaffed at breakfast - felt very sorry for the one person trying to stock the buffet items, clear tables, provide clean plates, glasses, cutlery and deal with irate guests. Lady on reception trying to check people in and out and also trying to help the one person looking after 40+ guests and all their breakfast needs.
