The room was of reasonable standard The hotel is very difficult to access. Signs for the armouries did not appear until we were reasonable close having driven around the one way system for some time. The parking is very expensive and we were not warned of the extra £15 The breakfast was revolting, scabby egg, dried up sausages and piles of baked beans. The coffee was undrinkable. On our second morning we did choose a croissant in place of the floppy toast but these had not been available the previous day. There were few staff on to clear the tables and so many people were sitting at tables where the previous occupants plates were still sitting. It was a depressing stay.

On arrival was given a room on entering noticed that the coffee had been used, further investiagtion and the bed and bathroom had been used so wnet back to reception and explained and was relocated to another room. Full of apologies from the staff. New room excellent. Was going to eat in the hotel but was advised there would be at least an hour wait so went to the Pizza Express next door, excellent. Breakfast very good but not enough clearing staff so it was looking a bit shabby, but quality of food was good.would recommend and would stay again.

the staff were friendly help full always had a smile, i was even asked if i wanted help with my suitcase by the receptionist has i had suitcase and small dog which i thought was very kind, the room was clean warm and cosy i really have no complaints about any thing has for the price the service and hotel in general were excellant. and we will def stay there every time we go to visit family, the bar is cosy and we were allowed to let the dog sit with us in that area why chilling with family and have in a drink, all in all it made our stay more enjoyable has we were unfortunate to have two days of rain, highly recommend, and the staff were also very dog friendly and my dog just loved all the attention.

An excellent location if you are visiting the Royal Armouries, although I'm not so sure it would be so convenient if you were looking for city centre or shopping access. However we were very pleased with the hotel, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, the dinner we had on the first night was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to friends.

When we arrived we were greated warmly and efficiently, our room was comfortable, clean and warm, a bonus on a cold/wet day. Despite the hotel being in the centre of Leeds, the whole hotel was very quiet, potential noisy areas such as the stairs are fully carpeted and the lifts very efficient. The complimentary breakfast with it's hot options was indeed much appreciated as was the flexible time with them starting at 6.30am. We received the most excellent of care during our stay ands will definitely make it our first choice next time we visit Leeds and or The Royal Armouries. All the staff are knowledgeable about the area and are happy to recommend what to see, the best places to eat, you can if you wish order a takeaway too.

I was not aware that there were still smoking hotels left in this country. The whole hotel stunk of smoke and air spray trying to hide it. I tried three rooms because of facilities being broken in them all. The room I settled on had a broken sink and stains all over the sofa. I would recommend that nobody stays at this hotel.

It was located in a very nice part of Leeds Centre and was very quiet - no busy roads nearby. The room was very clean and smoking was allowed in the room which is very important to me. When I first arrived there was no-one on Reception. I waited for 10 minutes and then decided to park my car and try again after that.

Price. Clean rooms. Power shower. Have to pay for parking in nearby public car park (although with voucher it only costs £8 p/night). Cooked breakfast options are poor.
