Lovely food !
On several occasions we have given Special instructions placed on booking form with booking.com. When checking in at hotel they do not have this information with the booking. Something isn't right.
Location was good. Plenty of parking space. Breakfast was good.
Don't like that it is the hotel's policy to pre-authorize £50 (in addition to the room charge) in respect of any damage I might cause to the room or its contents. This is apparently because in the past this has happened and they have been left "high and dry" with no credit / debit card to charge. I think this is unfair because I think they are "tying everyone with the same brush" in assuming damage will be caused and for this reason, it is doubtful that I will stay at this hotel again.
Wifi was supposed to be free. When I arrived I realised that there were two types of wifi. Slow free wifi and the "high" speed which you payed for.
This hotel is in a great location for shopping in Birmingham with the train station only a 2 minute walk away. We return every year, the staff are always polite and helpful, the room is clean and provides everything you need, simple breakfast but more than adequate, will be back soon.
Nothing to dislike
Staff very friendly and professional
Running out of cutlery but must point out it was a very busy breakfast.
The Wi Fi was not effecint.. slow and keep cutting out
Everything, from breakfast to wifi
The cost and the location were excellent for our purpose. The room was clean, comfortable and tidy and wasn't cramped. Great value for money.
I liked the location and its privacy is brilliant and no one bothers u and no shouting or screaming late night on landing also staff were very helpful.
Ordered fish and chips wasn't too happy the way the fish was cooked I didn't say anything as there were a party going on with elderly people so ordered food one night only.
Breakfast was value for money
Noise in corridor lat at night
Booked late in the nite because was not sure where to stop to spend the night during a long trip into pouring rain. Easy parking. Nice break, good night of rest in silent room and good shower and breakfast in the moring.staff very nice.

Location was great Rooms great very spacious
Room smelled of smoke, was really strong so if you dont smoke can make you feel a little sick
Having had a very long journey, it was very easy to find and just a couple of minutes walk from the station. I expected to be disturbed by noise from trains but it was very quiet. Staff were excellent and very helpful, and the decor very fresh. Looking forward to staying here again.
I wasn't keen on the cooked breakfast but since it was included in the room rate, I can't really complain.
The breakfast. Excellent staff in this area.
We were allocated a room were it was obvious the previous occupants had been smoking. Worried about being late for the wedding reception we were attending we decided to open windows thinking the strong smell of cigarettes would have improved on our return. Wrong! We got back to hotel late evening/early morning so decided to put up with this.( I had requested a non- smoking room.) We were also, bizarrely, given an adjoining room and were amusingly awoken by our neighbours passionate antics. A great way to start the day? Not recommended!!
The breakfast was nice.
The coffee was terrible.
That room had heating and very nice bathroom (except shower curtain, prefer doors)
That I wanted twin room and specify that in my booking. No one seem to care. I get double room, explanation was it was booking.com fault (not staff who didn't not read booking). No apologise in the morning, even tho I was deeply upset).
Only provided a single bed for a 5 night stay and wouldn't rectify the issue. Their free Wi-fi is hopeless and barley works also shuts off well beforte you leave. Breakfast not great. Vats of lukewarm eggs, bacon and sausages.
Staff were fantastic Breakfast was very nice Great location Great room
Good value, tasty breakfast, clean comfortable room.
*As new, clean, smart, *tasty breakfast included in price, *5 minute walk from Redditch railway station and town centre
*continuous dance music in public areas on our first day- even during breakfast (although the staff were helpful in changing this), *limited cooked breakfast (just bacon, sausage, scrambled egg & beans- nothing fresh like tomatoes or mushrooms)
An exceptionally good hotel in its class. Décor and furnishings are pristine. Staff are very nice indeed. I would recommend this hotel.
so very clean everywhere
chairs/sofa uncomfortable in lounge area
Found the hotel very clean and tidy couldn't believe it was nearly 7 years old, looked more like 1 year old. The large shopping Mall was just around the corner and was minutes away walking. Very handy for the NEC and the hustle and bustle of Birmingham.
I don't think there was anything I didn't like.
