Holiday Inn Express Stevenage  

My wife and I cannot afford very much so were only able to stay one night,which was a shame.The staff were very pleasent ,the room was lovely,and we are hoping to save up and try a weekend break. Thanks to everyone.

Good value for money. Good nearby rail link.

Stevenage is a terrible place.

Pleasant and clean hotel, would recommend for short stays. Useful for a1m and Rail station direct to London

It was in a good location and the service was excellent.at £35 bed and breakfast it exceeded requirements!!

The mattress had seen better days and was lumpy.

Clean, welcoming and good location. Excellent continental breakfast.

Late checkout and leisurely breakfast. Quiet, comfortable room.

Air conditioning / generator noise from outside courtyard area.

The hotel was clean, minutes from the train and bus stations, and it was right across the street from a library. Though compact, the unit for luggage and clothing storage was very accomodating. It was an interesting modular modern design.

The smoking floors were so smokey smelling that when the elevator passed by them, the stench was overwhelming. (Fortunately, and unbelievably, the smell did not permeate my non-smoking floor.) If you are a non- smoker, do not think you can tolerate a room on the smoking floors.

Check in lady not very happy

More or less everything, though the parking at Matalan could be a bit 'dodgy'. Having to be 'out' at 09.00 obviously suits the hotel butwe did hear one couple moaning about it. We'll be back.
