Holiday Inn Express Stevenage has a bar lounge with Sky Sports. Free parking is available from 5pm until 9am, across the road from the hotel, in Matalan's parking lot. My wife and I cannot afford very much so were only able to stay one night,which was a shame.The staff were very pleasent ,the room was lovely,and we are hoping to save up and try a weekend break. Thanks to everyone.

The convenience of location There was dirty underwear from a previous guest on the floor. We complained but the underwear was not removed and a phone call we were told we would receive from the Manager never materialised. We concluded that the rest of the room probably wasn't cleaned well. This is an outrage. We will not stay again at this hotel.

The hotel was clean, minutes from the train and bus stations, and it was right across the street from a library. Though compact, the unit for luggage and clothing storage was very accomodating. It was an interesting modular modern design. The smoking floors were so smokey smelling that when the elevator passed by them, the stench was overwhelming. (Fortunately, and unbelievably, the smell did not permeate my non-smoking floor.) If you are a non- smoker, do not think you can tolerate a room on the smoking floors.

we were very pleased with our stay at the express holiday inn stevenage, the room was spacious and very comfortable, staff were very friendly, the location was ideal for central town, also the surrounding area, we were very pleasantly surprised with the vast variety for breakfast, including a cooked breakfast, all in all, a very enjoyable stay, which we will recommend to friends and family, also hope to make a return visist in the near future

More or less everything, though the parking at Matalan could be a bit 'dodgy'. Having to be 'out' at 09.00 obviously suits the hotel butwe did hear one couple moaning about it. We'll be back.

The room was clean and comfortable. The towels in the bathroom were nice and large, clean and fluffy. It was nice to get 4 pillows on our double bed, we have only had 2 in other hotels. Although breakfast was listed as continental we were pleasantly suprised to find sausages, beans and scrambled eggs on the menu too. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be using you again next year.

Good central location They charged the payment card 2 days before our arrival claiming it was an advantageous pre-payment rate, despite booking.com's confirmation that the room cd be cancelled up to 4pm on the day of arrival! They did, however, oblige with a refund and recharge to another card on my check in.
