“ Total relaxation in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Ideal for a halfway stop en route to the Scottish Highlands, yet the location is perfect for a country walk, with good pathways and a lovely loch! Our breakfast was superb and having the room until noon the nexgt day was ideal. Many thanks to all at Holiday Inn Express Strathclyde Park (so easy to find!) ”

Location was ideal and the room was lovely and clean The breakfast was awful. The eggs were cold, the toast wasn't toasted, the sausages were underdone and there was no bacon on offer. There was only one kind of draught beer, Becks, it was awful tasting too!!

I have used HIE for many years and like the set up The offer of a free drink with a main meal which you couldn't deliver. Ordering one thing and being served something else. Lack of TV channels in the rooms compared with other HIE.

It was friendly and helpful. Bit out of the way. No free in room wifi, not good in this day and age. Breakfast a bit dry and evening menu prices really expensive with a Carvary next door. Be better to do a deal with the Carvary and not serve lunch or dinner in the hotel at all

Only one member of staff working at 8pm - football live on TV with 20 guys wanting drinks, customers trying to check in and food to be served! Too much for one person to deal with although he tried manfully.

The breakfast was really nice. I made sure I got up early so we could have it down stairs. The hotel was nice and clean and the people that work there are also very nice and helpful. I would absolutely stay there in the future. The bed was too soft. It felt like i was sinking into it. The menu was also a little limited other than those tiny issues I thought the stay was really good.

Location and familiarity - I used to stay there regularly a few years ago It is looking a bit tired compared with when I used to stay there. The breakfast, which brought it into our budget for the stay (compared with the Premier Inn at nerston, where we paid £29 a night for the previous two nights. The breakfast was limited, especially if your diet has exclusions (I'm a vegetarian).
