Getting a £100 parking ticket through the post when we were guests at the hotel
Staff were first rate, friendly and knowledgeable always with a positive comment.
Dry scrambled eggs for breakfast and a toaster that takes ages to brown the bread
Had to pay extra for wifi that worked, breakfast was poor, bed uncomfortable.
Real shame only one person could us Wifi as there was 2 of us no bacon at breakfast :-(
when we arrived we had to go into a smoking room we booked a double room only to be told they were all taken we are non smoker but we had to go in to a smoking room the braekfast was poor spoilt are weekend could do better not good value
Paying £1.00 for a half a cup of water
excellent helpful staff
Unfortunately there were several rooms on the first floor whereby the guests were very noisy through the the early hours
Disturbing sleep as adjoining room guest snored all night would not have a adjoining room again.
It was very noisy, I didn't get much sleep.
Bad overpriced food, got a pizza that was store bought and frozen.
Requested a quiet room for night before important interviews. Loud clicking noise from 'heating' system all night, cold room, no blankets (had to use towels), bed was broken so head lower than feet, after being cold all night the shower was tepid and smelt awful, 'free wifi' wouldn't connect so couldn't prep for interviews. To top it off, fire alarm (but false alarm) went off in the night so all had to stand outside in PJs for 45mins with no offer of blankets and had to wait for the fire brigade to come and switch it off. Uncomfortable, irritating and everything I did not want before interviews! Not the cheapest stay either!
The staff were friendly, large room. Tea, coffee facilities.
The noisy drunks that were banging on each other's doors and shouting at 2 o'clock in the morning, the mattress was very uncomfortable
Very basic for the cost
price and location
The high standards of cleanliness, the professionalism of the staff and the comfort of the room and other facilities
The cooked breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was no bacon and the egg was only scrambled not fried and the hash browns were cold. The rest was very nice though.
Tim was very professional.
We left a do not disturb sign on the door going to a funeral, when we got back the sign was inside the room on the side and someone had gone through my wifes bags, her purse was open and just thrown in the bottom and not in its small pocket at the side of the bag. nothing was taken as there was no money left in the room .
Free wi-fi is low-speed....
The breakfast range and overall value of the stay.
Only two small cartons of milk for a double room seemed insufficient.
Staff were very helpful. Bed was so comfy!
Location and cleaniness.
Very bad water pressure on shower. Water not very hot. Workmen banging & drilling outside our room.
friendly staff and fairly quiet
The room was rather cold
Good if you're not staying in the room long.
They didn't seem to have our booking when we arrived. When they did find it the woman at reception started to blame us as the names were put together.
The beds were comfy, & the rooms were clean
Heard alot of noise from the rooms either next to us or down the corridor so didn't sleep to well.
Overall pristine appearance, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The catering was very good too. For a budget hotel it was very good.
The hotel needs to be signposted clearly on the main road as it is hidden away in the Asda Complex. We had trouble finding it. What we didn't like was the frugality of the tea bags and milk in the rooms. We had to ask for them more than once.
