Very nice room, clean and well maintained. Good buffet breakfast, without staff fussing over me to get me seated/eating/away again, I had all the time I wanted to have a slow breakfast.

Had to ask at reception how to turn on the lights in the room. You have to insert the room keycard into a slot just inside the room door. Hadn't come across that before (I don't stay in hotels very often), so it would have been a good idea to have been told about it when I was given my room keycard, to save me going back and forth from reception to find out. :-]

Below expectation, the price is unreasonably high for such hotel standard.

The location (7-8 minutes' walk to the Heathrow-London tube and close to many shops and eateries). The room (comfortable beds plus a large flatscreen digital tv) The hotel is located down a small alley-way off busy King Street, which cut down on street noise. The hotel is smoke- free (but see comment below). The breakfasts (good choice of hot and cold foods). Spacious lobby with pay-as-you-go internet, wide range of snacks for sale, and even toilets for that "last call" after checkout. Luggage room for leaving bags on your last day, after checkout. For London, this hotel is reasonably priced (especially the no-cancellation option, if you are confident of showing up).

The breakfast room gets crowded after 8 am, so go early for breakfast. Some of the cutlery was not as clean as it could be, and there was a folk shortage one morning. No vegetarian option - grilled tomatoes would have been a nice extra. Smokers tend to smoke just outside the main doors, as the interior is smoke-free.

It was close to the venue for my meeting. The room was very quiet.

Breakfast rush - ran out of some items eg forks, spoons.

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean with essentials and pillows labelled firm and soft. The lifts were fast, reception friendly and lots of tables available at breakfast. Reception sells pot noodles, snacks and drinks and there's a microwave to heat up your late night snacks.

The 'hot' breakfast, as mentioned in other reviews was only just luke-warm even though i sat straight down to eat it. So the following day I did enjoy a muffin, cereal, muller yoghurt and toast with slices of cheese instead. I found the plug sockets in the room too close to the work surface so i couldnt charge my camera and had to unplug the tv instead.

I liked the breakfast choice and self service arrangement. I liked the lay-out of the social space downstairs. It was good that there snacks available to purchase at all hours.

Rooms were excellent and the breakfast was lovely.

Internet would not work with my parteners I Phone which was fustrating as it would have been usful for Google maps.
