Holiday Inn Express Lichfield  

It was a nice comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. As an ex hotel manager myself i'ld say the boss there has got a really good team working for her. I was there for a family wedding. The whole party were very impressed with every aspect of the stay as well as the price. All in all a good family stay.

To be honest nothing. It was a problem free stay.

Breakfast was pretty good, with the exception of the eggs which were grim, but the choice of foods available meant that you could just bypass them without it really spoiling the breakfast. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the rooms were a very generous size for the price we paid. The staff were helpful and arranged anything we needed, including taxis from the hotel the the venue we were travelling to. Plus, its literally right bang Next door to a 24hr McDonalds, which was super convenient if you have had a beer or two and get hungry in the middle of the night!!

The eggs at breakfast were grim. But other than that, it was pretty much great. Light in the bedroom could only be turned off by removing the key card, which cuts the power to the room, so had to stumble into bed in the dark - would be better if the light had a delay so you could get into bed after removing the card before being plunged into blackness. But, for the price, these two things are all I can find to moan about. I really wouldnt let either of these two factors infulence your choice of stay though as otherwise the hotel was spot on and these are only really minor gripes.

The staff were welcoming and aimed to meet needs - I was leaving before 6.30am and the staff on duty were very accommodating as breakfast had not officially started and I ate at 6.15am and was able to leave on time to travel to Bristol for my appointment. I like the fact that the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

Was very lovely hotel have stayed n a few holiday inn expresses lately and would always ue them when going away .the free breakfast was onderful and I love the ice machine

Price

Was given a smoking room. Took days to get rid of the smell from my clothes. Bar area was full of blokes eating take away food and watching the football. Discarded pizza boxes left on tables. Room was badly affected by traffic noise all night. Coffee at breakfast was foul.
