Rooms were clean and tidy and the reception staff were courteous and efficient We had a bar meal on the second night which wasn't very good, 50% of the items were inedible (filled out a separate online complaint form)

Ideal location as we were attending a dog show nearby and also a hotel which allows small dogs. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hope to return next year.

Excellent breakfasts with a wide variety of options. Clean comfortable rooms and extremely helpful staff. Plenty of parking space with a very frequent bus service into Manchester.Altogether, a very enjoyable break. The surrounding area is a bit foreboding and can be frightening late in the evening when walking from the bus stop. Also the lack of immediate shops and other facilities that are open in the area adds to this. The hotel itself however was extremely enjoyable and we would use it again in th future.

The Hotel staff are always pleasant and helpful. Location is good and the access to the city and motorways very easy. The Hotel is quiet and the breakfast is also good. Tea and Coffee in the room is a nice touch.

We have already stayed at this hotel last year and it was so fantastic (plus very good value for money) that we were sure that this year we would go there again. Breakfast was very good with a variety of food, room was well kept plus a flat screen with good stations (plus anybody who wanted to see live football could simply go downstairs and watch on the sofa!) We will definitely come to this hotel again and we would recommend it to others!

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was great for a continental breakfast, plenty of fresh food. The room was very comfortable. We did have a problem one night with rowdy neighbours but, the hotel were very quick to act and that put an end to it. The staff were very friendly and there were no problems with the hotel, which gave fantastic value for money The hotel is in a very run down part of town and would not liked to venture out after dark. There is a 24 hour bus but we would not get on it, prefer to drive or taxi. The pub next door (nothing to do with the holiday inn) was pretty bland, food, although cheap was of a low quality, drinks expensive to make up for it. Preferred to go in to Manchester to eat

Clean, comfortable with twin rooms that gave us plenty of room to get ready. Breakfast was really good, well located, in plentiful supply and best of all at convenient time. Extremely good value for money and only a short taxi ride into the centre of Manchester. Toiletries supplied if u needed them. Overall very very impressed and would definitely use this hotel again and recommend to others. Staff were very helpful: ordered taxis for us and found us the phonenumber of the restaurant that we were using. Minor point really...the lifts are really really slow and one of the keys to our room just would not work!!

Very clean venue with welcoming staff. Delighted with the complimentary breakfast which was lovely. Although it is slightly out Manchester Centre there is a fantastic bus service which stops at the end of the road - but it was very handy for our night at the Apollo as it was in the same bus route.

We just had a 2 nite stay here as went to the O2 apollo to see a show as it was in a good location for the event only being 5 mins away in car or a few mins more by bus, we thougt the hotel was excellent the staff very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean lovely ensuite too breakfast very good all in all great value for money and if I was in the area again I would not hesitate to stay here again or any other holiday inn express. Excellent location very good staff also breakfasts exceptional. Situated next to picturesque resovoir and landscaped park and for evening entertainment a very nice pub/restaurant is next door.City centre only 15 minutes away.

Almost everything would not hesitate to stay here again. Requested on line to stay longer than 11am and then at reception when we arrived. We were asked what time we would like to stay until and we suggested 1pm. We were very pleased to be told that this would be fine. In fact we left before 11am as our plans changed but as we had arranged to stay here for a family party in Denton and didn't know how late we would be returning to the Inn the couple of extra hours given to us relieved the pressure and really added to a most pleasurable and relaxing stay.
