The room was very clean and rather spacious. All public areas were also very clean and tidy. Good facilities were offered and the breakfast was better than I was expecting with 2 hot items offered as well as the usual continental items.

Good location for event at local showground. All staff were very friendly and efficient. Rooms were good size, very clean and well designed. Hotel was "dog friendly" which some hotels claim to be but are not. Dogs were allowed in lounge area which meant that we could collect our breakfast items but still sit with our dogs rather than leave them in the room unattended. Having to book a further night at short notice was also processed very efficiently. Lots of safe parking.

Very clean, staightforward service and breakfast options. Good for thetraveller on the move. It was not possible to get subtitles on the TV. My husband is deaf and relies on subtitles to use a TV at a volume that does not disturb other guests.

It is clean, and offers the basic facilities you need if you're only staying somewhere for one night. The hotel is not in the best location. It doesn't have any evening dining facilities or room service (as far as I'm aware). The room was cold on arrival. The room did not have a bath. I would only recommend this hotel for a 1 night stay.

It is close enough to the a1 to be easily accessible and far enough away to avoid traffic noise. The ground floor public areas (lobby, receptions, lounge and dining area) are without steps and so accessible to those with walking difficulties. The “continental” breakfast included hot items; scrambled egg, sausages and beans as well as the expected croissants etc. All in all excellent value for money.

Hi I booked the hotel for two visiting friends Mr Fabry and Mr Sgori from Germany over the Internet and despite filling in their details the rooms were in my name. This caused confusion on booking in and I had the money deducted from my account. The two visitors should really have paid the separate bills. It did not matter in the end but disappointed that this was not picked up. Also the reward points were not credited to my account! Regards Graham Key

We live in the South and we have family living in Lincolnshire and we like to meet up as often as we can. I t is a fairly good half way point. We find the price structure very good particularly as you include a nice breakfast also. The other plus is the Harvester so near which affords you the choice of enjoying a nice leisurely drink with out the thought of driving. The bedrooms are spacious enough for the family to meet in and catch up on every thing. All in all every thing you need for a fair price which in todays market most of us have to consider carefully. I am sure I am right when I say that your website guarantees a good nights rest, sadly that is where you didn't live up to your reputation.I Will explain the reason why in your next box. .. All our party of ten including two young grandchildren retired to bed around ten o'clock. At four in the morning we were woken up by banging on the door two doors away from our group and the chap was asking the friends for twenty pounds to get a taxi and they wouldn 't give it to him,I think this angered him and the friends were trying to diffuse the situation but it clearly wasn't working. Another guest opened his door and in a very polite way requested some quiet and was met with a string of verbal abuse using very strong language.By this time our g/children had woken up and my daughter had telephoned reception. The night manager appeared and it seem to calm things but when he left it kicked off again .My daughter then went out and said that she was going to ask to have them removed as there behaviour was totally out of order, again just verbal abuse. We feel that it should have been handled in a different way and it did somewhat spoil our stay. I would very much appreciate some form of acknowledgement to my letter in order to be able to inform the rest of our party as I am speaking on the families behalf.I Am the parent of the group and as my son was so very angered by the attitude of the offending guests and as he felt that the night manager very much under acheived in hiseffort to deal with situation I felt the need to present a fomal complaint on everyones behalf Regards Margaret Rock. Holiday Inn Peterborough Our stay Dec 3rd 2011.

Parking and check in were easy. The rooms and public areas were clean and well maintained. There was a large seating area where you could meet family. A good choice for breakfast and Harvester next door if needed. The Staff very helpful and always polite. Value for moneyand will stay there again.

The hotel was clean the staff in reception were quite curt and I thought morose, there was no choice of eggs at breakfast and no bacon, on enquiring I was told they never have had bacon which I know was not true as I have stayed there before and they certainly had bacon then, I hate being lied to so will not be staying there again. The manager on reception when we arrived 28/10/11 was great. We will be staying at Holiday Inn express again but not at the Peterborough site. Patricia Pollard
