Holiday Inn Express Swindon West M4, Jct 16  

Very nice , very clean , very good and help full staff, we will stay over night some time soon a very big thank you to all at holiday inn express Swindon

We were VERY impressed with our recent stay. Was expecting a standard hotel because we paid so little. But we got an amazing hotel. Definately stay again. Very pleased.

although on a busy road was very quiet in the rooms we had double bed room with sofa and twin room on the other side of the corridor . Breakfast was very nice lots of choices of cereals fruit, drinks , hot food sausage and scrambled eggs and beans brown and white bread and selection of pasteries and cakes. Bathrooms are cleverly designed bathroom door shuts towards toilet and also closes for the whole bathroom.Exit is through a barrier and people need to know code before exiting very nice staff who helped me out with directions and when another guest had gone into my car and drove off lovely hotel

It was very friendly - everything was spotless, breakfast good, no problems and the best of all was the price. We have family in Wootton Bassett and the location is excellent for visiting them. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Although my brief trip was satisfactory and served its purpose and for the money.

I was disappointed at the condition of the breakfast bar and smell of tobacco in our room. The breakfast bar hot food was limited to sausages, beans and scrambled egg. There was no bacon, tomatoes, hash browns etc. Also it was very messy and looked unsavoury so we stuck to just a bowl of muesli. No staff were seen to be tendering to it. Though the room was a smoking room the smell was quite over powering and there was no sign of any permanent air freshener. In view of this fact I will next time probably book another competitors Hotel in which to compare.

I was plesantly surprised with this hotel, as the cost was not high I did not have very high expectations but when I arrived my first impressions were good. I found the seating area, bar and reception area very well layed out, modern, comfortable & clean. The staff are friendly, helpful & welcoming, we asked to change rooms to be on the same floor as other members of the group, which was done without any fuss. The rooms are spacious & comfortable although could do with being a little be warmer but having said that we did have exceptionally cold weather whilst there (snow). I would definately recommend this hotel and would stay there again myself.

Location was ideal and the breakfast was quality and well presented, although the hot plate could have contained mre than 3 items.

The reception staff weren't friendly and I felt I was burdening them by checking in. They seemed more interested in the socialising amongst themselves than serving customers with any purpose.

Good position - J16 M4. Well-equipped, quiet and very comfortable room.

We expected the hotel to be fairly quite but there were a number of youth sport teams staying at the hotel. The staff were excellent in how they coped with the unexpected influx. They were are all extremely happy and helpful even when placed under pressure.

Excellent location with easy access from Motorway. I have stayed at this hotel on quite a number of occasions the staff are always friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are spacious, beds very comfortable, excellent shower in bathrooms which are again spacious. The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none. Breakfasts are plentiful with a good selection of food and drink.

We went to breakfast at 9.58am to find there was hardly any food left and the waitress was clearing what was left of the breakfasts. When I approached her and asked why I was told curtly breakfast finishes at 10am. On returning to the room I checked the room services leaflet which clearly stated breakfast was served until 10.30am. On checking out I explained what had happened and showed the Receptionist the leaflet clearly stating breakfast was available until 10.30. I was informed the leaflet should have been removed from the room. The Receptionist apologised but was unable to offer a refund as I had already paid when checking in. Perhaps it would have been a good idea for the receptionist to advise on checking in that breakfast times had changed or even have a notice in the reception area stating the new breakfast times. Apart from this issue I have always found this Hotel to be excellent.

The staff and facilities were good nad we felt welcomed and would visit again.

We only did not like the heating facility, it was next to the bed aqnd the warm air was above our heads so that made it uncomfotable.

Lovely hotel and staff breakfast was very nice we will stay again.
