Cleanliness and comfort

Some staff on arrival were rude

The locality was ideal for the places we wanted to visit,it was clean and very comfortable.Staff where curtious and helpful,excellent value for money.

really suprised we only stayed 1 night for the airport but will use this hotel in future when flying from Cardiff food was excellent and the rooms quiet and confortable

I liked the green friendly use of the keycard for use of lights, etc.I just wish someone had explained it. It was confusing not being able to turn on the lights.

Clean Room, efficient check out and breakfast at 4am for a flight out - excellent.

Location,parking. Guy on reception who was chatty & helpful when asked about shuttle for cardiff.

The rooms are basic, no power shower, although stated it was! Lack of mirrors in main room, open plan furniture, no drawer storage. Lack of tea & coffee facilities, very minimal. Food & drinks expensive,breakfast just adequate. No room info for contacting reception about any problems.Reception not constanly manned, staff sat on chairs reading papers. Breakfast staff did not acknowledge you or say good morning. No real customer service apart from one nice guy who did reception & bar!

Location - we tried to get somewhere in Cardiff but all booked - and value for money. Breakfast was excellent and overall value for money but standards not comparable to other budget hotels

The room was not clean. There were various bits n bobs (foil from a wrapper, plastic tag) on the carpet and the bathroom smelt like it had been cleaned with a dank/smelly old mop. That said the bathroom was clean but smelly. The bed was too soft and we continually rolled together and it was not supportive. I appreciate mattress comfort is down to individual choice but this was by far the worst we've encountered in comparably priced hotels. Normally they are much firmer.

The hotel is excellent for flying in and out of Cardiff Airport for early morning flights. Very comfortable rooms with good facilities. The staff were very friendly and willing to help at all requests.Nice to have the choice of a smoking room so didn't have to stand out side. Ice machine and microwave available in reception and laundry room with washing, drying and iron to use. Very good value for money.

No slip mat for shower available. Could have had cold meats for breakfast.

The staff were very helpful this was our 2 stay over all pleased with the hotel .

Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and modern. Very comfi with heating/aircon. The dinner was amazing. What a brilliant chef! You must try the chicken salad starter...lounge is great for watching tv, working on laptop and generally relaxing.Breakfast starts early 4am. I had to leave at 3am and they offered me some breakfast to take away. Nice thought. Right next to airport but you cannot hear any noise in the room.

Had a early flight and shuttle was ready and waiting no stress Friendly helpfull staff

Bar crowd would have been a concern if we had kids with us be nice if there was a barrier between check in and bar.Crowd just happy nothing unpleasant but potentially a bit intimidating for single ladies or young family

Staff were first class.Very friendly and helpful could not ask for better. Room was more than adequate and very clean, thank you.

Decor - poor, compared to Premier Inn. Bed not as comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meals very good breakfast brilliant and the hotel generally very clean, tidy and welcoming. Relaxed atmosphere.

Beds rather hard and heating/air conditioning in bedrooms tricky to say the least.

It was very close to Cardiff airport which was just what we needed. The staff that were on duty when we arrived to check in were very friendly, informative & helpful. We didn't have the breakfast that was included so cannot comment on that. Checkout was quick & efficient. The courtesy minibus which is available 24/7 is a great plus as well!!! Fantastic stay, i requested a quiet room & that is just what we got.
