I stayed in a Dis-abled room. Unforunately the floor in bath and toilet was of Tiles which was very slippery and was dangerous for any disabled person. The wet room system was hopeless with half of the curtain only and water was going all over wetting the floor making it more risky, my wife had to dry the floor with towel before I could walk to the room, I will not recomend this hotel to any one. Excellent for what I needed at the time which was a sleep before I got a early flight from Edinburgh airport Would have been better If I could have got a meal as well , which they do not do Friday , Saturday or Sunday . Instead I had to got to the Harvester across the road , never again though it was disgusting .

It was convenient and well located for what we required. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The only downside was that it was a very cold weekend and because the hotel is eco friendly the electric heater in the room was switched off when we removed the keycard which meant the room got cold quickly and was very cold when we returned to the room

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean The WiFi Internet connection was very poor, it was nearly impossible to make connection, from the room it wasn't possible at all. Breakfast was very poor, the bread was stale, the scrambled eggs and sausages, were very dry. (Old)

As a first visit to a Holiday Inn Express this was excellent, we had judged the hotel on price and were expecting a fairly basic hotel but this was not the case and the accommodation was excellent, the staff friendly and the rooms were spotless. Our only quibble ,and it's fairly minor, was that the scrambled eggs were almost cold each morning at breakfast,as we were only expecting a continental breakfast it wasn't a huge problem.

I booked this hotel on 5/11/11, to stay in on 3/12/11 exactly 1 month before. I had booked standard double room. To my surprise when I reached there I was given standard twin room. I called receptionist and she just bluntly said my booking is not for standard double its which ever room available!!!!!!!!!! Is this what you get to book your stay in well advance??? She just said hotel is full and can't give us another room. I was astounded with unhelpfulness of hotel staff. I have stayed in many different hotel but I have never come across such a unhelpful staff.

Very friendly staff, good location to vist Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling etc. Good and safe parking space, free internet in room and good breakfast although continental. Recommended if travelling by car and also Azda supermarket opposite hotel open 24 hours helps a lot. Clean and comfortable rooms, keep it up! A small suggestion, is it possible that breakfast varies from day to day?

Staff were very friendly and chatty. Room was quite basic, but clean and tidy and the shower was good so just what me and my friends were after. Breakfast wasn't great but wasn't expecting one so was a bit of a bonus. Could do with a bit ore choice on the cooked items.

The hotel was great for the price bracket that it falls into. Rooms were very clean and more than comfortable for a short stay. Plenty of choice at breakfast and the restaurant and bar areas were very comforatble. The restaurant wasnt open over weekends. The bar was quite pricey.
