Holiday Inn Express Greenock  

I have always been satisfied with my stay at the hotel and will use it again.

No WiFi in the rooms

Very friendly staff. Good breakfast,plenty of choice! No trouble parking.

Attractive pricing for a triple room. Relative proximity to Loch Lomond national park.

On our arrival we were given a twin bedroom instead of a double room with an additional sofa bed as booked. After complaints we were given a bigger room however it was obvious that this was a smokers room. As we do not smoke and have a small child this was not what we imagined. Maybe this was an exceptional situation (bank holiday), but management seemed not to be up to the task.

You had no record of the booking and we had a half hour wait for a room. I believe an accessible room was requested and although it was near a lift it was on the second floor

Quiet in and around the hotel gave us a very restful night. Beds were comfortable. Room had everything you need for an overnight or short stay including soap, shampoo & shower gel. Shower area was good size and shower was easy to use and quite powerful. Good breakfast was included in the rate. Overall I would say our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Greenock was better than I expected and good value for money.

Location, price, clean and comfortable, pleasant, informative staff. I enjoyed my brief stay and will be staying there again at the end of the month.

Restaurant facilities in the evening are rather pricey and basic - breakfast was fine though

The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly.Room very quiet didnt hear a thing got a good nights sleep great Best shower we have seen in a hotel very easy to use.Easy access into town for shopping or night out.

Would have prefered a traditional scottish breakfast.Sausages were absolutely disgusting full of fat but wont put us off coming back!!!!

We liked everything,the room was clean and comfortable and was well equipped .The breakfast was more than adequate and would suit every taste.The staff were mot polite and extremely helpful.All in all a most pleasurable experience ,thank-you

I can highly recommend the staff when I went to 'check in' very friendly and incredibly helpful because I had misjudged the distance to another destination 'Helensburgh' because of the distance it meant I had to be up & leave at 6:30am, no trains were running at that hour but George I think his name was after much searching by telephone found a cab company that would transport my friend and I to Helensburgh for far less in price that the local cab companies were charging, the lady who was assisting him that evening also organised a very early breakfast, the staff went above and beyond the call of duty, the hotel was wonderful, very clean and comfortable, should I ever be in the area again I would definitely stay in the same hotel.

I can honestly say there was NOTHING I didn't like!

The manager and his staff were very helpful and very pleasant. He could not do enough to help us and we were very impressed with his efficiency.

Breakfasts are very basic

It was very central,for shopping and also near enough to the lovely Loch Lomond,which was the reson for our stay.

The only complaint we had was the constant banging of doors by unconsidered guests.

The room was great and the location was great too.

My card key didn't work very well, but it could have been me? There wasn't much on for cooked breakfast, because I would have liked some bacon and mushrooms or some porridge. The set up for breakfast was a bit, bitty, because everything was all over the place and you had to hunt for things, such as the knife and fork.

My stay at Holiday Inn was amazed by the lovley staff,whole place was luvly and rooms wer spotlessly clean what a FAB breakfast 2,i also got a loyalty card so will defo be goin bk to Holiday Inn,thanx for such an enjoyable stay.

Central position, helpful and friendly staff, clean spacious rooms and good value for money

Lack of nutritious cereals at breakfast. Basic bread. Not a good variety of fruit

Cleanliness of rooms,location,scenery,ease of access

Didn`t know that there were still smoking rooms.As we did not request a non smoking room we were automatically given a smoking room and you could smell it.It was very distasteful.But this certainly will not put us off from booking again as we now know to request a non smoking room in future.

Comfort. Easy access from town. Friendly,cheerful staff.Quiet throughout,especially at night. A bewildering display of breakfast foods. Didn't sample evening meal. Out of town.

Staff were excellent, helpful beyond their duty. Spent time with children and made them feel very special. Breakfast had lots of choice. Staff obliged to needs for making the children comfortable.

Only problem I had, was that our phone didn't work, and when questioned it said that they could move our room.. But declined as too much stuff to move after unpacking! (Family that were also staying in two different rooms didn't have working phones either).
