Bathroom needs a freshen up and re-grout

I like the fact that smoking rooms are still available and that breakfast serving times will fit most people’s needs.

Poor range of evening meals on menue

Beautiful location, alongside the estuary, with views for many miles along the coats and across to the mountains. Riverside paths from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, who allowed us to bring our dog at the last minute for no charge - very pet friendly hotel! Nice breakfast too. We will return.

The room was very clean and fresh, the public area was fine and I would recommend to anyone that needs to visit Greenock.

The breakfast selection was not refreshed as often as it should have been. We went down around 9.00 and the trays were bare with only bits and pieces left over. This when there was still 2 hours to go at breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely; The breakfast was especially nice, with plenty of choice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless. Good location, very close to Greenock Central train station and Morrisons supermarket.

The best part of our stay was the personal reasons for our being there. However, my husband would whole heartedly say that the breakfast, as part of an inclusivbe price, was excellent.

The hotel was badly let down by the lack of cleaning. In particular, public areas such as the stairwell, were filthy.

Have stayed here before and like the friendliness of staff and freedom to come and go as I please. However I found my room this time a little in need of some tlc - very clean but certainly needs some attention.

Schandalig dat men 12 Pond moet betalen voor een WiFi-verbinding die nog niet eens werkt. En bovenop de kamerprijs ook nog eens 20 Pond borg moet betalen. Stel je toch eens voor dat ik voor 6,50 Pond ook nog eens een film ga kijken....
