close to airport and clean The self service breakfast was very poor, no hot dishes left when we went at 10am, had to ask staff several times for hot food and then had to wait over 15 minutes for it to be taken through.

This was a perfectly situated hotel for travel from Glasgow airport. It has friendly staff and the restaurant caters for all needs. I would recommend it to anyone who needs an overnight stay prior to their flight abroad.

The location was perfect for access to the airport. It looked a little tired and I just hate the nonsense about the pillows. They were not "firm" and "soft".They are both as hard as rocks.

Fantastic value for money , especially that the "Hot" breakfast is included in the price. Having previously stayed at the "Premier Inn" and paid "Extra" for breakfast I consider my "First" stay at a Holiday Inn Express as fantastic value for money. Will visit again in the future.................Many Thanks

The fact that the hotel was just 2 minutes from Glasgow Airport, as we were catching a plane at 7.00 am the following day and had to check in at 4.00 am, we were able to go back to hotel and have breakfast, as we had travelled from Edinburgh this was perfect for us, the price was good too as were were only in room for a short time.

Excellent location for Glasgow Airport, rooms were clean and comfortable and good breakfast included. Free Wi-Fi in public areas. Air conditioning in room was quite noisy when on and didn't seem to work consistently but only a minor problem.

Location, location, location. We walked from the rental car return, to the Holiday Express, and to the Glasglow Airport's main terminal- only a few minutes walk from each other. Having a lobby restaurant with good food was great.

We arrived at the hotel at 10pm and the desk staff were less than friendly. They allocated us our room and when we arrived they had given us a disabled room - the bathroom was a wet room with a seat in the shower and disabled hold rails everywhere. The double bed was the smallest i have seen and the air con didnt work properly so we were freezing the whole night with a sound of running water coming from it. There was no extra bedding and the quilt provided was flimsy. It was also a noisy room from the motorway and the airport though this would have been over looked if the room had been warm and a a proper bathroom as we are 2 abled bodied 30 yr olds. We were awake from 5am also - would not stay here again - 3 *s is over rated for what we got.

Very handy for airport, excellent all round for convenience. Self service breakfast included in price beats competitors in my experience. But no bacon? Why all these numbered spaces in the car park.. Makes one unsure of where one should put car but staff say it does not matter. So what are the numbers for then? What's the pedestrian crossing doing on the far side of the hotel car access. It should surely be on the same side, might help drivers too as in " Ah here are some people obvioulsy coming out of the hotel with their baggage an dwanting to cross the road, better stop and let them over !"

Rooms were reasonably sized. Bar and restaurant in the foyer were comfortable and food was basic but good. Access to terminal building was easy. We expected less, having stayed at the Holiday Inn "proper" on the other side of the terminal building. After this visit we'll probably choose the Express again.

“I liked the extremely helpful staff member who supervised not only the dining area but also worked as a troubleshooter [I.E. he lent us a lamp because one of our bedside lightbulbs was out; also, he opened a bottle of our own cider for us, as it was not a screwtop kind of bottle!] The morning person at the front desk was also courteous and helpful - watching for our shuttle bus for us to take us to the airport.” Catherine, Port Hope, On |
