Eynsham Hall  

Beautiful location....the hall looks and is wonderful.It is breath-taking.

Very loud pipes coming on very early in the morning ...woke us up!!! That was in the lodge. Also breakfast there wasn't enough bacon and eggs....had to wait a fair time and they didn't come out together....should be better planned especially over a weekend when there are lots more people around.

We had two rooms. One was spacious with bathroom facilities etc. That was brilliant (room 3). The sense of space, inside and outside the Hall was magnificant. We would have loved to enjoy some of the other facilities provided but couldn't due to the short stay. Perhaps next time.

The other room (room 2) was of inferior quality. the most important aspect was thew detached bathroom.

The staff were very helpful and nothing ever appeared too much trouble. The breakfast was especially good too.

Difficult in finding a space when there is a conference on.

The staff are always really friendly and helpful and the hotel is well managed. There was a wedding when we visited but it did not affect our stay nor I think did we intrude or their wedding. The bar and restaurant are lovely and the food good.

The bedrooms are very tight. Small room is ok but bed against the wall was very restrictive for sleeping. Breakfast could have been better, bacon not cooked and plates cold.

Staff were very helpful, considerate and efficient. Site , gardens and rural aspect very appealing.

Design and size of the 'double' room in the lodge was disappointing.

small rooms beds not very comfortable hard pillows I would recommend the location but would warn about the beds overall bathroom could do with updating

The food was definitely not as good as the last two years we have been. However the breakfast was great as usual.

Noisy plumbing 24hours.Minute room.Minute swimming pool. Walking in rain from room to hall.

The food in the bar was wonderful, one of the best steaks we have had in a long time!

Everything about the place was good

There was ample parking

We had a mattress that sagged in the middle; the heating was erratic; the breakfast was mediocre.

Very nice surroundings, however I think on this occasion hotel guests came second to a wedding being held at the Hall?

The cottage rooms are basic

The location was beautiful, with peaceful surroundings. Ideally situated for visiting Oxford and Blenheim Palace.

The room was very small, not a lot of space for manouvre. The bathroom, however was fine.

Friendly efficient staff, lovely food and comfortable accommodation all wrapped up in a beautiful building with suberb surroundings

Unlike other remarks, we found that the rooms were of adequate quality, functional and clean, with the relevant amount of wear and tear that you would expect to find in rooms that were consistently in use. We found that the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a feast of a breakfast in the main building, which was fabulous for choice and sustenance. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately the weather, which of course nobody can do anything about!!

i have stayed twice over the last 2 weeks when i stayed in room 449 - the room was tiny for a double and the matress was terrible - lumpy and needs replacing , the plug was off the kettle the following week i stayed in 424 - this was a nightmare - the drench shower didn't work - just a tiny drissle, then a noise appeared which was best discribed as a jet engine - called duty manager and he agreed - changed rooms to 422 also the pillow was dirty informed shaun in morning and he just took comments on board but didn't offer any compensation

Everything about our stay was perfect, from the moment we arrived to when we left. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good and the building and gardens are beautiful.

We went for a swim and sauna on Sunday afternoon and they had run out of towels so we had to walk back to the main building in wet clothing.

Had a good meal in restaurant, food OK/good and lovely service. Main hall lovely. Breakfast OK.

Difficult to know where to start - bedrooms in Eynsham court were the worst I have ever stayed in. The discomfort, pokiness, darkness and awfulness was beyond words. Small bed (not even a standard double), duvet barely big enough for a single let alone a double bed plus bodies under it, no space to move round and totally insufficient lighting - reading in bed not a possibility. How you would get a 6 foot man and his wife in I cannot imagine. Compared to the good looks of the main hall, the disappointment of our accommodation was overwhelming. I would be embarrassed to recommend anybody staying here.
