After reading the reviews, was actually dreading our 3 night stay, but all in all, found this to be unfounded. The house on arrival was fantastic, reception was very helpful, although we were not staying in the main building, but in one of the annexes' (we stayed in the lodge), and just a short walk away, with car park close by, the room was clean, big enough for our requirements with ensuite bathroom, which was sufficent for our needs, with hot water. This venue is geared up for wedding parties, but this didn't affect us in anyway, our stay was very enjoyable. Breakfast was in the main house, and was buffet style, with plenty of choices + menu for alternatives. Would definately return in the future.

The house and grounds were simply lovely. It was quiet and the bed comfortable but best was the food! Really great! Bigger TV in the room and freeview would have been nice.

The location was stunning and the interior of the main hall was gorgeous and very well maintained. The buffet breakfast had excellent choice and was excellent quality. The room was very clean and well kept. The standard double room felt more like staff quarters in comparison to the main hall! It wasn't a very big room and the bed was a small double. It felt a bit outdated and not very private.

Beautiful location, beautiful building and grounds. Room in the Lodge had a double bed but it was really a single room. Over priced for what it was. At breakfast it felt like we were sitting in a corridor and every time the door opened, which was regularly, there was a terrible draught.

The main hall is beautiful and maintained as a period property. We were attending a wedding and the Bride and Groom were able to get some lovely photos. For our evening meal the chef had worked really hard to meet some complex dietary requirements and the food was still truly delicious. Impressive work! Truly ridiculous bar prices (£9 for a double vodka and lemonade) and unless you bag a room in the main hall the facilities themselves are also overpriced. We were in a room so small that a travelodge would've been ashamed of it. We could almost touch all 4 walls from the bed and the bathroom was from the 80's. Horrible! Oh and £75 for the privilege of sleeping in a cupboard.

The hall itself is wonderful, lots of character inside and out. It is set in large grounds a long way from traffic noise. The room was a little too small for comfort with quite a hard bed and no seating for two people. It is perfectly OK if all you want to do in your room is sleep, but it is not a place you want to spend much time.

The accomodation rooms were small, it was as if they had put a double bed into a room made for a single bed. Having advised them on the booking that I was disabled, it was a good job that I did not need a wheel chair, as there was no way I could have used it in the room we had. The bed was very uncomfortable and gave no support.

our stay was a family reunion, with my parents and three brothers, this was a central liocation to us all and more important was that in 1961 my father came here as a police officer on his basic training and wanted to return as he he recently been diagnosed with pancriatic cancer and has only been given until the end of the year. Therefore this was for him, as the next time we all get together may well be his funeral. We all enjoyed the stay and were made welcome by the staff. the building the staff the food the surroundings, we could not fault things.

The rooms in the main house were lovely and full of character. There was a gym/spa and pool on site. Eynsham hall is a very impressive house and estate. The food served was all well prepared and served. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had 5 rooms and 2 had minor problems which were resolved in minutes. The rooms in the annex are a little tired and very small, adequate to sleep in but you couldnt relax in them, however the communal rooms in the main hall were lovely.

Gorgeous building- we stayed in the main hall. A la carte menu reasonable priced and very nice. Cooked breakfast: some items were cold (bacon), mushrooms were very overcooked, but I understand that when catering for huge numbers, the food at breakfast can't be cooked to order.

The main hotel its self was fantastic we just love those old places. The grounds great and the location perfect place to stay. The only down side was the size of the rooms. The rooms had everything but just a bit small but for a weekend break not to bad

Nice location, very friendly and attentive staff. Good wi-fi connection. Staff dealt with an issue that I had with the room very promptly without issue ( and to my satisfaction ) Hmmm... The only real issue that I have is with the food. I ordered a simple cod and chips from the bar menu @£14.95 (expensive enough for this kind of dish) What arrived was a piece of fish that actually looked like one of those frozen fish portions that you might buy in a supermarket, the peas that accompanied it were less than one spoonful, and as for the seven (7) chips that were in a ramekin alongside! whilst I realise the type of food that they are trying to serve in the restaurant, I felt that the bar menu could offer a lot better value - how wrong I was!

I thought Eynsham Hall was very impressive & the staff we met, very friendly & helpful. The breakfast very nice, although our friends, thought different, (they were in a different dining area to us & said the food was not very hot. I would loved to have stayed in the main building to see what the rooms were like, as although our room was very clean & the linen & towels lovely & white, the room it's self was very small & basic, so was the bathroom which was the biggest disappoint.
