The people were very nice. We arrived after 11:00pm and they arranged for us to get the key. They also stored our luggage the day that we checked out for several hours with no charge. |

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast, although not overwhelming in options is good. The location is excellent, providing a 10 min walk to the center or with very good bus connections. The rooms need some renovation. Wireless internet access, although advertised as available in rooms, could only be reached in the lounge. |

Good value for money.Walking distance to the town center, however, a fair way up the hill. Very friendly staff. Would definately recomend for a cheap city break. The quality of English breakfast wan't not fantastic but I suppose you get what you pay for. |

Please write at least 15 words Lovely welcome from the owner who couldn't do enough to please. Toilet flush didn't work properly and high cost for calibre of the hotel. We booked a family apartment on the royal mile for the sunday for £125 which was significantly better |

The owner was very helpful and the accomodation was good value for the city centre. The room was of good size, the bed comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of hot water! Nothing I did not like but a chair in the bedroom and a better TV aerial would add further to the overall experience - not that the TV worried me as I was out most of the time! |

We had a good room for our family of four. Breakfast was made to order. Innkeepers were very helpful and accommodating. About a 15 minute walk into the center. You could take a bus if you liked. It is a long climb up to the 2nd floor after a long day of walking. No elevator. |

Lovely characterful Georgian house. Felt very comfortable. They let us book in a little early and eat our packed lunch in guest house lounge. Also looked after our bags on the last day so we could do more sighteseeing. Good sized room in this price bracket for a family of five. (3 kids, 12,10,4). decent breakfast. En-suite facilities a little cramped |
