On the west coast of Scotland, in the heart of Robert Burns country, this privately owned bed and breakfast offers free Wi-Fi and parking and is well known for its good food and Scottish hospitality. Failte Bed and Breakfast is located on the A79, only a 5-minute drive from Glasgow Prestwick Airport. Newton-on-Ayr Train Station is only a short walk away, with regular trains running to and from the airport. There is also a bus stop outside Failte with regular services to central Glasgow. The restaurants, pubs and shops of Ayr are just a 15-minute walk away. Ayr Racecourse and Northfield Bowling Complex are also both within easy walking distance and the area is also excellent for golf and fishing. All of the rooms have hairdryers, TVs with Freeview cable digital channels, toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and cookies. The staff are very welcoming, very friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way for our young children, and also accomodated us in a late flight. Great location for overnight if you land at Prestwick airport. Good value for money too.

Failte B&B is a ideal place to stay when flying in or out Scotland through Glasgow Prestwick Airport. It's less than a ten-minute drive from the airport. Billy and Jennifer are the most wonderful host and hostess we have ever met during our three-week trip. We enjoyed the cosy room, comfortable beds and the breakfast very much and will certainly recommend it to all who plan to pay a visit to the west coast of scotland.

What can I say but excellent - this b & b has everything any traveller could want, it is spacious, clean, tidy, and has a good location. My husband and I were only staying here for one night, but could have easily stayed for one week. The hosts are just wonderful, and even took the time to drive us to the place where the party was we were attending. Breakfast was superb. We would definitely stay again, and recommend to family and friends. A true find on a road that has various places to stay.

Bonjour La qualité de l'accueil est excellente. La chambre ainsi que les toilettes sont parfaites. Le petit déjeuner était so scottish, c'est à dire excellent. Bref, si vous arrivez ou vous repartez de Prestwick AIrport, même à 22 h 00, pourquoi risquez un accident ? Le b&b est sur la route principale vers le sud, sur le coté droit en roulant vers le sud et 5 minutes environ de l'aéroport. Bon séjour. G.L.

Ett mycket vänligt bemötande av värdfamiljen och en hjärtlig stämning. De var mycket hjälpsamma. Rummet var normalt för priset men det var tyst trots läget. Ett plus för att det var enkelt att hitta. Ayr i vackert väder är en fin plats att göra utflykter från i SV Skottland.
