Decent space for 4 of us Clean Good storage for suitcases good shower and bathroom
Dealing with the owner and making arrangements to meet him Being asked for extra money for car parking No kettle Crockery for only 2 people despite there being 4 of us Heating very noisy and difficult to set No instructions for anything in the flat Broken TV Sofa bed is very small- fine for 2 people who don't mind being intimate
The accomodation was clean, warm and comfortable. Brilliant accomodation with children. I would recommend for families who want to take short breaks in London. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
Staff really helpful, really went the extra mile in order to give us the keys even though our flight was delayed until very late at night. Also appreciated the late check out
Excellent location for local facilities as well as access to London.
After emailing and phoning the previous day to ur arrival we waited over 1 hour before being let into the appartment, with young children this was no joke.
Really cute apartment, has everything you need for short time travelling. Beds are comfortable, kitchen with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, stove, washing machine, central heating if you are cold... It is 5 min walk to train station, and same goes for groceries store. If I visit London again I would stay at Fairfield again.
Minus is that they don't respond to emails (had few questions before we arrived), but you have to call them instead. And we had to call them (day after we arrived) to get wifi password, it would be easier if manager gives wifi password together with keys.
- we booked with free parking - no parking place was available, we had to go to an public park garage and must pay more than 12 gbp per day. - No power point in the bathroom. This apartment is only for bald head women (no possibility for shaver and hair blower). We asked the keeper - his reply: that´s right. - We asked also to change the bulb in the bathroom (they had two - one was defect, interesting for gothic enthusiast) - nothing happens - When we arrived all dishes in the board were wet. We asked for dish towel- nothing. - In front of our apartment entrance in the corridor bulky items: old cooking stove and different equipment.
The apartment was very clean, and bed comfortable. Equipped self-catering facilities.
We called many times before being able to reach the owner when we arrived at the property. There was no alternative other than to keep on ringing in the middle of the night while standing outside of the apartment. No toiletries, half a roll of toilet paper, half of the lights in the apartments were not functioning hence very dark in the evening. The neighbourhood may seem residential but at night there were some dodgy activities going on in the street. In the description a free parking is included in the price, but once when we returned to the property from a day out, we were told by someone that lives at the property to circle around for 15 minutes as he was fixing his car which took the space was designated to us. We ended up paying for off-street parking.
1- clean& comfortable 2- close to train station 7-10 min walking 3- you can prepare your food 4- well maintained apartment 5- good value for money.
1- there is no hair dryer as they mentioned 2- they enter in to the apartment while we are out side without asking for permission, but nothing was missing.
Staff were very helpful and efficient. Flat was well furnished and kitchen & bathroom finished to a good standard.
Hob and microwave were dirty on arrival as was a lot of the cutlery. 4 or 5 of the ceiling lights in most rooms were not working - bulbs needed replacing. Bath needs a shower curtain otherwise unpractical for showering. Need a plug in the kitchen sink. No toilet roll or tea-towels/dishcloths - these would normally be provided when self catering. Only 2 odd glasses were in the kitchen when we arrived (but were replenished when we asked for more).
Good location Well equipped
Basic facilities missing - no toilet paper No tea, coffee,
It was brilliant value for money, clean and very spacious full marks from me.
It's a nice cozy place. You can do your cooking yourself. All the facilities are there. I however do think that this place is best suited for a family rather than a single person.
If you have a problem there is no one to contact. The day I was leaving, I saw a family standing outside. They had been standing outside for about an hour. They had arrived and no one was there to receive them. The number given wasn't working and they weren't responding to emails. It was dreadful for them.
There is a litte garden. A good place if you come with a dog.
Within 10 minute walk to train station. Manager was very helpful with train tips and letting us borrow his GPS and cell phone for the first day until we could buy new ones.
Property was not as advertised. Bedrooms were very small. No closet in 2nd BR. Bed was lumpy & had springs poking thru mattress. It was too small for more than 1 adult to sleep in. Kitchen had no microwave oven. Not enough guest parking. We had to pay to park in a garage 2 nights of our stay. Furniture in LR was old & uncomfortable. The place had a bad food odor that we couldn't get rid of.
The apartment is spacious and a lot of sunlight in the day time. The location is very convience. Railway station and supermarket are near by. I can have family washing in the house.
I hope a bigger pot and a tray can be provided, so that I can present my meal better.
Great Location, so easy to travel into central London. The perfect base for a weekend stay. Kitchen well equipped with everything needed. Extra bonus was the wifi and free parking! Thank you!
Could do with a couple of lamps or main lights on a dimmer so the room does not have to be dark or bright but can be somewhere in the middle. Not a major issue and would still stay here again!
All around was a lovely stay. Very clean and everything in walking distance that you could need
On the booking.com it states that parking possible (no reservation needed) on arriving we was told we couldn't park there so had to park in the NCP car park which cost £61 for 5 days. We feel this is false advirtisement. We only chose this as parking was free (so we thought)
Good location in central croyden, lovely flat with great facilities.
The only negative was that the location isn't signposted on the front of the property so you need to ring the owner for access
