Staff very friendly, food lovely and room nice, well kept and clean Brochure in room advised leisure facilities open until 8pm at weekends, however we arrived at 7pm to be told they were closed at 7pm at weekend?????? |

The hotel has a beautiful quiet seafront location. The reception staff were courteous and friendly. The bed sheets were not changed. In the shower it was difficult to get a suitable water temperature, then water suddenly changed to scalding hot and i was hurt. We feel that we could have been in a cheaper end of scale hotel and not known the difference. Aside from 2 exceptions, the staff were not attentive in the bar/grill area. |

The comfort, the food was excellent and well presented. No soap in the bathroom on arrival. No milk for coffee or tea. Had to report this to front desk. The hogmany celebration were very poor. Had to gate crash private jazz party for entertainment. |

Location; indoor pool; therapy facilities. Disappointed in few things--not major but did not expect from hotel with 4 star rating; e.g. bread at dinner was extra; peanuts with a cocktail were extra; music too loud in dining room; T.V in bar so loud could be heard in dining room (in addition to the music!) |

the bar man at the end of the night was very helpful and pleasent, the other staff i found to be very unhelpful. The food was awful. |

Fairfield was a lovely friendly hotel. Our room was fab with beautiful views of Aaran island. It was only a short stroll into town and staff were helpful. |
