Good location, good parking arrangements, excellent rooms, friendly and helpful staff, super breakfast superb hotel.
A warm welcome, clean, friendly and peaceful.
well trained friendly staff
Lovely welcome, beautiful house, great breakfast.
Mattress a bit lumpy. An awful lot of stairs. Parking is ok if you have a disabled badge, but unclear that the real parking is at the rear in the medical centre next door.
Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast too.
The room, facilities, breakfasts, staff, parking, access to local 7 and restaurants, comfort, cleanliness, excellent broadband.
not one single thing.
A splendid family run hotel, surely the closest place to Stonehenge imaginable. I had the best mushroom omelette that I've ever had. Ten out of ten.
Beautiful building, well maintained. Lovely room with superb shower room. Great staff, brilliant breakfast, modest price and so close to Stonehenge. Perfect
Cleanliness, friendliness and service.
Soap and towels changed a little too often.
Easy parking, friendly and helpful staff, no problems at all..
Lovely staff. Warm welcome. Clean and tidy. Quiet. Good parking arrangements. Best sausage sandwich in a hotel ever!
The off road parking was close to the guest house. The breakfast was excellent in pleasant dining surroundings. The staff were extremely cheerful & helpful at all times. Close to A303.
Amesbury town is pretty limited in pubs & restaurants serving half descent food.
A friendly welcome, lovely room. As a lone female, I felt safe and comfortable. Staff couldn't have been more helpful.
There really wasn't anything that I didn't like.
Cleanliness and room facilities WiFi Staff Central location for Amesbury Breakfast - superb ambience, menu was expansive including, for once, what we would describe as a proper continental breakfast ie cold meat and cheese platter - not even offered in most hotels.
Although free car parking was available it would have been nice to have known this before booking in. A little noisy being located on the main street of town, but not a major problem.
Breakfast was exceptional Bedroom and ensuite were very comfortable and spotless.
Not to do with Fairlawn but a sad lack of eating places in the town with the exception of an excellent Indian.
saffy relly helyfull and kind food was nice i relly ilke there stay there agend
Location Price Nice rooms Great staff Good breakfast
Lovely friendly staff who rang us as we were running a late to tell us how to gain access should the front desk be closed by the time we got there.
All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the house. The full English breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone.
The hosts communicated quickly and were extremely welcoming and informative. The room was spacious, felt recently renovated and had a great mattress and linens. The breakfast was also a delight - great food but also friendly service and so welcoming.
Having to leave :-(
Cosy room, modern bathroom and the very accommodating staff.
Weak wifi inside the room.
Efficient and welcoming staff. Spacious bedroom
Amesbury itself is not very well served with decent places to eat. You have to look outside thevtown
Excellent accommodation with superb breakfast and service
It was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast options were good and the cooked English was superb. Willingness to reduce the price of the room at the last minute was good customer service and switched my intention from never staying again to reconsider staying in future. Good breakfast staff. Location close to High Street. Despite cramped conditions the shower was quite good.
Mix up on room booking between own online system and Booking.com meant I was moved from what was supposed to be a spacious double to a cramped single room. The noise from nearby houses made sleep difficult. TV didn't work and even after being shown how to get it working it failed again. TV handsets were caked in dirt that hadn't been cleaned in years. Had to ask for spare T. Roll as space for spare was empty. Tissue box had only one tissue in it, so I assume it wasn't checked when room valeted.
