Superb place to stay.

Nothing to dislike. No wonder this has a good rating.

As I was visiting an elderly relative at the hospital across the road, for my needs it was the perfect location and was close enough to the town centre for a break in between visiting hours. The owners were extremely helpful and allowed me to leave the car with them before the return trip to Yorkshire.

The welcome from the staff on duty was warm and welcoming. The room was excellent, very clean and furnished to a high standard. My wife and I have stayed at this accommodation in the past and have always been satisfied with our stays.

It was good to stay away from the crowds in Oxford. It is in a calm area - residential area. The owners were nice.

It was too far from the train station for someone who was not driving. As I had told I would like a more continental breakfast. On the last day of my stay there was no yoghurt. I had to have tea and toast and a banana.

The staff were so friendly it felt like home. The beds were so comfortable which is very important for a 4 day stay and the place was very clean and the breakfasts were fab thank you

Good breakfast with wide choice of cereals, breads and full English. Easy to find. Parking was good. Very good value for money.

We enjoyed our stay at Fairlawns. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. We were given a room in the gardens because we had our small dog with us and this was perfect for us, the room had everything we needed and it was cosy in the cold weather we were having.

The shower room was quite small and the shelf above the wash hand basin had been put in a bad position which made it difficult to wash your face or clean your teeth.
