Can get noisy at night.
Size of the room and comfort! Short walk to the main town and good value for money!
It's very central and great location for a beach holiday. If they refurbish but keep the price low we would go again.
The hotel was looking really dated and carpets should really be changed as soon as possible. Also, no breakfast at the hotel but only at the nearby pub. There, we were charged additional money for a coffee and every day the items in the plate were less and less.
Noisy road and creaky floorboards above, but a good price for a short stay.
Big clean rooms
Very comfortable beds Very clean
Very very small room for a family, hardly any room to even put our bags on the floor. Nowhere near enough hanging space for 4 people
Van parking & price
No breakfast included!!! Extra £5 for 30mints after 9pm check in weird rule!!! Small room listed as double no soap in toilet...
Value for money /cheap
Breakfast excellent Shower lovely n hot
Nine beds in the room to sleep 3 kids n mum n dad. Ie 5 beds too many & limited floor space
The staff were very friendly and gave me a plaster for the cut on my finger from my hockey game earlier
No complaints at all
The location of this hotel is just outside the town centre and near the pier. There are lots of restaurants/bars etc nearby. Very basic/no frills hotel but comfortable and good sized rooms.
The walls were quite thin so you could hear people talking. Also, the showers were a bit of a let down - the shower head was so clogged only a trickle of water came out. Spoke to the man at the front desk who said we could try another room and the shower in that room was better.
it was like a dos house, security were asleep at desk, no hot water shower didn't work, it was 80.00 for 2 nights and yet when we got there it was 15.00 per night, would not recommend
Location to Town centre
The breakfast at the pub across the road was good, the beds & rooms where clean and comfortable, couldn't complain for the price
Smoke alarms going off for over an hour on a Friday night while listening to hotel staff threatening to kick people out for smoking wasn't great. the hidden costs for parking
we had a problem about hot water so we could the shower just in the morning and double bed made of 2 single bed so it was really uncomfortable.
Steep hill, traffic noise, 2 single mattresses on a double bed. Layout of room, no sockets near lamps.
Close to shops, beach..we bought a £5 pass to use the facilities ie: swimming pool at the marriot..plenty tea/coffe in room
The double bed was 2 single matresses pushed together.. The staff not very welcoming tbh.. The banging of doors, sqeaky floors..bath plug not supplied..
The ensuite was new and the room was clean
The carpet on the staircase gave a bad appearance
Cheap and cheerful paid £24 for a double room great value for money. We went to the Marriott spa as well which was a lovely treat. Would definitely go back.
Room was small and decor was tired.
Was warm and beds were comfortable
Shower was tiny and carpets very dirty, few holes in doors and walls aswell
Beds were very comfy. Showers were very clean. Good car parking.
The "night staff"/doorman/bouncer who "guards" the door after 10pm was a nightmare. Me and friends were no louder than any of the other guests. Either way, we really shut up after he complained about the so called noise. However, even with just the tv on he continued to threaten I call the police to the point where me and my friends felt like we were staying in more of a prison than a hotel.
nice and helpful staff, superb location
the room was quite small
The value for money is great. I paid £23.50 for my room, which I thought was a brilliant deal. Room was immaculate albeit tired, bathroom was also immaculate bar a loose floor tile.
The double bed had two single mattresses pushed together on top of the frame, there are no extra locks on the doors, so I didn't feel as secure as I would have liked, especially when the couple next door were awake all night and screaming at the top of their lungs having a full blown row at 3am. There was also about a two inch gap between the floor and the bedroom door. The entire hotel is very tired, the decor, facilities, half of the plug sockets didn't work and the curtains were half falling off the rail. It needs major updating.
