Nothing to dislike about this accommodation, good location, good food, good staff, value for money, already booked for next year again.
The staff were very welcoming & helpful the hotel locations was excellent close to all we wanted to see/do very comfy pleasent room & excellent breakfast with plenty of choice
Nothing really enjoyed are stay & would highly recommend the hotel
overall cleanliness. spotless and well presented dining room. spacious downstairs bar and sitting area with extra large tv and leather couches. cheap drinks. centrally located. breakfast filling, well presented and tasty.comfortagle bed.
my room overlooked a busy street with rowdy stag niters and hen parties until after 4 in the morning ask for a room at the back
- Location was great for everything we had planned in the city centre. - The friendly welcome, despite we arrived early. - A nicely decorated en-suite room with tea-making facility and TV - A lovely smell in the hall - A parking space - Good value for money
Room and en-suite a little on the small side, but this was no problem for our needs of one night. Perhaps the carpet could be hoovered a little better on the edges and corners.
Overall the room we had was great just maybe a little tired and louvre doors to bathroom need to be replaced with proper door, slightly embarrassing when using loo
All good except mentioned above would defiantly return
such a small small room steep stairs
very friendly and attentive on arrival excellent service and the bedroom was clean and comfortable
did not stay long anough
Nice hosts, clean place, perfect location. Value for money. Simple as that
We wanted a B&B near to the Winter Gardens so this was perfect for location. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was powerful and the breakfast was very good.
One of the reasons we picked this B&B was for it's car park however it was full when we arrived so we had to use a public car park. (Only 8 pounds for 48hrs though). Wi-Fi in our room was intermittent. The road itself was quite noisy past 3am and from 7am with groups (hens/stags?) so if you're looking for somewhere quiet this is not for you.
Nice quiet hotel, walking distance to the centre of town but not too rowdy. Room was ample size for a solo traveler, good fresh cooked english breakfast. The option to pre arrange an earlier breakfast if it was required. No problems with WIFI dropping in and out as other hotels.
Covered in the above.
warm welcome on arrival. Great loction, 2 minute walk from centre. Breakfast was very nice, actually got tinned tomatos, never liked fresh toms on my brekkie! had a choice too. Bar in basement was cosy with a god choice of drinks. W ill definately be returning.
Very good location. Clean rooms. I liked that there is no pre-payment at time of reservation. This list of important!
You get what you pay for, cheap and cheerful and close by to city centre so in a good location.
There was a a group party of girls staying at the B and B. Came in very loudly around 3 o'clock in the morning not that this was a problem they where drunk so bound to be slightly nosey, but they where shouting for at least half an hour was so pound they where even on a different floor to us but still found it hard to get to sleep with the noise I did expect the manager to come out and tell them to keep quite but no one did. Shouldn't had gone on for so long!
Good breakfast Excellent value for money
Room spacious Breakfast excellent Close to tower and centre
Décor a bit dated
Just what we were looking for
Breakfast was good especially the poached eggs
Position of hotel in relation to the venue we attended
Only cans of beer available
The whole experience was just what we wanted. Would definitely book with them again.
Nothing to complain about.
Close to the tower and bars.
Early check out.
Very helpful, allowed us into our room early, allowed us to park earlier than we should but also the whole day that we were leaving. They also allowed pets and allowed our dog into the room where she stayed for the day and kept looking in on her to make sure that she was ok
Nothing, would recommend
Nice people good value for money
The room was cold I was freezing in the night.
