4-star, Gold-Award winning, Fairways has free Wi-Fi and free parking, less than half a mile from the seafront. Central Torquay is nearby. Each spacious, refurbished room at Fairways has a DAB radio alarm with iPod docking station, and an LCD Freeview cable TV. An excellent breakfast is provided at Fairways, using fresh local produce, whenever possible. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Fairways is near Princess Theater, Torre Abbey and Torquay's shopping center. The atention to detail that Chris and Janet have makes Fairways a really relaxing and comfortable place to stay.The rooms are excellent and the breakfast was superb.We would have no hesitation in recommendling this hotel to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairways. The Hotel room was very comfortable & spotlessly clean.We were offered a complementary drink on arrival by the owners who worked tirerlessly to ensure we that we had everything we needed during our stay. Breakfast was really good & the hotel was exceptional value for money.

The attention to detail provided by the owners to ensure that guests had everything they need - and more! Everything was good quality, spotlessly clean and exceptionally comfortable, in fact better than in many large hotels. Breakfast was superb, good choice and beautifully cooked. Location very convenient for our needs, I.E. seafront and Riviera Conference Centre. Free on site parking. Front of hotel on a fairly busy road so some traffic noise. Not a problem with windows closed but a bit noisy if windows open.

We were made very welcome the moment we stepped through the door. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed for all our stay. Our bed was really comfortable and we had undisturbed sleep. We enjoyed our breakfast very much as it was tasty, well cooked and presented and made with fresh ingredients. We will definitely return again .

My wife and i could not find fault with Fairways, When we arrived we were greeted by the owners and offered tea or coffee which was delivered to our room, We were then shown around our room And instructed how to use the electric fire if we needed it, how to opperate the shower, Tv & DVDplayer, And radio and the entrance keys system, We really could not find fault with this very delightfull B&B , It is very warm and cosy, Our room (3) was very well appointed and the 4 poster bed very comfortable. And the breakfast was to die for. A lovely place to stay, And i will be recomending this B&B

Good location for access to beach and town. Hosts were attentive without being intrusive. The quality and quantity and choice of breakfast was exceptional. the decor was modern and conducive to a relaxing holiday. Should be in the top 10 in Torquay.

On arrival we were made welcome and received a hot drink. The room was clean and stylish and the bathroom contained a selection of toiletries. We were given a choice of breakfast which tasted lovely. We found Mr and Mrs Gallacher-Smith to be welcoming and friendly we enjoyed our stay.

Home from home. Very nice proprietors. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Best breakfast ever on a holiday. Home made bread....yum! First name terms, not stuffy Mr this and Mr that.

we had a very enjoyable time whilst staying at this hotel. the owners were very very friendly and could not do enough for us. we were greeted on arrival with a coffee, had our room explained to us where everything was, also explained about how to get into town centre, as we had not been there before and was told of the best places to go and eat. we would definately recommend this hotel again and would like to compliment both Chris and janet on what a wonderful business they have there and compliments with regard to the breakfast. we would definately return again and will be recommending to friends. Thank you very much. We can honestly say that we have nothing bad to write about this hotel and out stay there. well done. its a winner in our books.

Received a welcome email the day after booking, and a very friendly welcome on arrival with a cup of tea brought up to our room. We booked the 'small double', so were not expecting a big room; yes, it was small but not cramped - perfectly adequate for a place to sleep, which is what you look for in a B&B. The room was very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated, with small touches that you don't get in budget/business hotels that cost a lot more eg biscuits on the tea tray, face clothes in addition to towels. Breakfast was lovely, with as much coffee, tea, toast as you wanted. Chris and Janet were very friendly and accommodating. We hope to return to Torquay, and would definitely book at Fairways again. We have no complaints at all, just one suggestion which is to put semi-skimmed milk in addition to full fat on the drinks tray in the bedroom.
