Located in the center of Bromyard and easily accessible from the A44 highway, this cozy hotel offers comfortable accommodations in a pleasant setting, one that is rich in history and character. The 2-star rated Falcon Hotel is a black and white Tudor building dating from around 1535, becoming an Inn around 1635. The public rooms and bedrooms are rich in history and character. The hotel is in the heart of a small Herefordshire market town, with small, independent stores all around. The Church, Theater, and Fitness Center are within walking distance. It was very convenient for our needs. Surrounding area was beautiful. Very attractive architecture. It was warm and clean. Food was very good. Staff helpful in the end. It could benefit from a little updating of facilities. Staff could have been more welcoming at te beginning. Slightly overpriced for standard of facilities.

A really warm welcome from the owners a lovely hard working couple.The food was exceptional really good home cooked food the lamb shank was especially good.I Stayed on business and am now looking for another reason to visit Hereford so that I can stay at this lovely quintessentially English hotel!

The food was freshly cooked and delicious, far superior to higher starred hotels we have stayed in. Also very impressed with the choice of food offered at the wedding reception which then arrived promptly and efficiently. Evening venue in the Medieval Banqueting Hall was superb.

The location was ideal. Easy to find and the hotel was clean. It was impossible to dry your hair with a dryer and see in the mirror as there were no plug sockets anywhere near. The shower head bracket was broken and so it kept falling off and hitting you on the head whilst having a shower! Although smoked haddock was on the breakfast menu, I was told in no uncertain terms that it took too long as it had to be defrosted, then cooked! Why was it on the menu?!

This hotel is unique in its quaintness and attention to detail in looking after the customer nothing is too much trouble to make your stay an enjoyable one .We look forward to returning in the near future .
