This is third time we have stayed in the hotel and each time we have had a fantastic stay. The location is ideal for the shops and pubs. We did ask for a room in the old part of the hotel overlooking the church but were given a room looking out to the side road. |

an unrequested 20% discount on the bill was waiting for us when we checked out re the room difficulties as below having asked for a quiet room we were put in a room that when we returned in the late evening had all the noise from a function on the floor below; whilst they eventually agreed a move to the floor above we had to move all our luggage |

Central location - good restaurant - good sized room with kettle and coffee facilities always welcome. The one thing that really stood out as a critic was the miserly charge of £2.95 for a credit charge transaction. This was not Ryan Air. The impression given from a marketing perspective is negative and petty. The fact that there were at least 6 notices declaring the charge was pathetic. Why not put up some uplifting missives - useful information regarding the weather - suggested places to visit with opening times - positive points not negativity. |

We come to Stratford-on-Avon every year for Theatre & a shopping visit. The Falcon proved to be an excellent choice, everything we needed was within easy walking distance and, if we are spared (note ages!!) we will be with you next year!! Also, all your staff are lovely. Thanks. |

Going to the Courtyard theatre for which the hotel is excellently placed. Walking along the Avon and the Canal. Visiting the Shakespeare sites. One day our room was overlooked re cleaning and we had to report it twice. It was then done to our convenience while we were out at the theatre. |

We were in the older part of the hotel which was excellent, very atmospheric of Shakespeare's times, loved the windows and beams in the room. Very cosy, especially on cold winter nights. |

The location of this hotel is good, close to shops and other eateries. A good selection of fruits etc at breakfast. My wife and I were not impressed with the evening meals,a bit bland to say the least (must have had a surplus on salmon,it appeared on the menu in three different forms the last night we were there which was friday. Come on people smile a bit more, make me feel welcom. |

Excellent location in centre of historic Stratford, good mix of original Tudor build with modern extension, quiet and laid back ambience during entire stay. only downside was bar manager? who closed the bar to cash sales at 10pm on Sunday (room tabs only) then closed it completely at 10.30 , turned off the tvs and told remaining guests no more drinks were available! Very rude and not the way to encourage people to stay in the hotel - we drank elsewhere from then on! |

Fantastic location a few minutes walk from the Courtyard Theatre and a wide choice of restuarants, right in the heart of Stratford. We were in a room across a courtyard - not a problem in fine weather but uncomfortable crossing to and fro for breakfast in the rain.... |

Location good for Startford theatre, package price excellent, near good variety of restaurants, clean, friendly. Good service, good parking. our particular bedroom was a little noisy but clearly other rooms would not have been - I would not criticise the hotel on these grounds. All city centre hotels have this potential drawback |

It is close to the town centre therefore easy access to all shops, restaurants and ameneties on foot. The breakfast served was excellent. The only form of heating in the lovely refurbed bathroom was an electric towel rail - which didnt work meaning cold floor tiles under foot and a cold brisk wake-up shower in the morning too. Having queried it with Reception we were told to expect it to warm along with the central heating but it didnt. Our room was located across an open courtyard and up 3 flights of short steep stairs - not ideal for the elderly or for heavy suitcases, we were grateful it wasnt raining on arrival & departure. |

the staff were friendly and the room was adequate. Reception wasn't manned all the time and when you called for the porter he answered hello reception which clearly they weren't. I personally would have expected better service for the price of the room. |
