Location was good Reception staff pleasant Breakfast floor manager very good and apologetic for the chefs reply for my request
We stayed in the modern end of the hotel suffered serious fan noise from the kitchens below. For breakfast I asked for black pudding a traditional fare for breakfast and I was told "no" because it is saved for the evening meals, this in my view is not acceptable. Lift door noisy needs attention.
Beautiful hotel located next to the Hop On-Hop Off bus stop. Helpful staff, pleasant rooms.
Cheerful and friendly check-in/reception staff: comfortable bed: free parking on-site, and central location
Some rooms in older part of hotel very small and cramped: service in dining room barely adequate, though food very good.
liked the room in older part of hotel Liked courtyard garden Well located within Stratford and parking a bonus.
The hotel was in a brilliant location for exploring Stratford. The staff were very professional and friendly. The waiting staff at breakfast could not do enough for you and the breakfast its self was delicious. would definitely stay again if visiting again.
The central location of the hotel. Easy assess to all areas of Stratford. Sense of history Beautiful building The garden was a lovely place to relax after a day exploring.
Breakfast was limited.
The age of the building The room very charismatic. Great location Great value for money
A bit noisy since window giving on the street and not double glazed. Could hear neighbours walking down the corridor since wooden floor cracking.
Fantastic location. Polite staff
Early morning noise from road sweeper
A warm welcome and good wifi
Our room, for which we paid a premium, was a good size, but sadly it sounded as though our ceiling was about to collapse throughout the night due to other residents above us. Most irritating.
It was certainly worth paying a little more for a room in the old part of this historic building.
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
We didn't really enjoy the breakfast and thought it was very over priced!
Great young lady on reception, good food
Staircase looks shabby
My fiance and I booked the legacy falcon without knowing anything about it, apart from what we saw in the photos. We were very happy with the results. Clean, affordable and in a great location of Stratford. It has our vote!
I could see the Grammar School and the chapel from the room. The hotel is a well preserved historical house.
The price is expensive.
Huge, well appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Really close to the theatre. Good on-site parking.
Absolutely nothing-will be coming back!
Elevator was blocked when we arrived. We were told it couldn't be used. After we pulled our old, arthritic selves to our room, the bellboy used the elevator to bring up our bags! We learned the elevator was sort of working, but the hotel was "saving" the last "pin." We resented this episode and think failure to maintain the elevator in this large facility was inexcusable.
Ideal location , good for car parking, central to town facility's,good size rooms, ideal location if you like canal boating.
Cannot find any faults
location; olde worlde look from outside; we were in the oldest part of the hotel Rm 318) which was nice but the stairs to the rooms were quite steep - no lifts in this part of the hotel so would be a difficult climb with heavy cases for older folk
breakfasts were better when you didn't have to serve yourself, but that only happened twice, but wouldn't put us off going back there
The staff and hotels position
The bedroom damp patch in wall hole in the floor noise from an outside extractor
Ease of parking, excellent. Comfy bed. Location perfect & value for money. Would stay again
Reception not very professional. Small room. Low ceiling in bathroom. Crack in sink.
What did we like every bit of our stay it was brill
what could you not like
Location, garden, real ale in bar
Bit warm in rooms
Nice room with little balcony in a very quite part of the hotel over looking the garden..
Very steep very twisty staircase to room, nice when got up there only thing which let it down was a very rusty marked bath..shame...
Location and staff friendly.
Although breakfast was nice the portions were a little small.
