My room was excellent. all i needed and absolutely silent through the night. Only annoyance there was no hot water in the taps. I reported this to reception. in the evening the water was hotter, but next morning it was cool again and not good enough for a shower. Apparently 'Salamander' had been working on the system

Beautiful little seaside village, relaxed and friendly, walking distance from Falcons Nest Hotel which is a great place to eat, especially lovely Sunday roast, reasonably priced. Small parade of shops including Newsagents, Co-Op, Fish and Chip shop. Nearby, Chemist, Post Office. Delicious ice cream at Scoops cafe. Regular bus service into Douglas every 20 minutes. Steam train station and museum, closed on Tuesdays

It is a beautiful little village but everything you need is within walking distance. A Post Office, Chemist, 2 good gift shops, several cafe's, a really good fish and chip shop, and a several outlets that sold Davisons ice cream. Proper pubs and bars. Not to mention the train station which is lovingly maintained and straight out of an Enid Blyton novel. Very easy to get round as it's mostly on the flat except for when you drop down on the beach. It is also well serviced with buses as well. It has some very interesting local history as well which the Falcon's Nest is directly involved in.

Port Erin is one of the most scenic areas of the island especially if you get a good sunset. Plenty of walks, great beach and local cafes/pubs. Great place as a base to explore the rest of the island too.

Port Erin is a delightful holiday spot not spoilt by over development but with some nice bars and restaurants. Travel around the island from Port Erin is easy via the excellent bus service that stops outside the railway station. The narrow gauge railway service to/from Douglas is a scenic hours trip one way.

Work in progress, we arrived to find that the hotel was undergoing redecoration/refurbishment. Hotel a little run down in some areas, but you can see improvements. The large function room downstairs has been redecorated and is very nice. The restaurant has been decorated, but still some things to be sorted. Staff all very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good and the staff pleasant.

We liked everything- a nice welcome, a good sized room with an excellent view. Breakfast was varied and tasty. It was clean and comfortable and a great location to explore Port Erin, close to Steam train so easy access to the island also. We managed to get a parking space outside of the property also.

This is the best place to stay in Port Erin. It is strategically located, less than 5 minutes away from the town centre, and has an undisturbed view of the ocean. The apartment is very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We will definitely going back to stay there.

The location was excellent, a short walk from town, bus terminus, train station. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The proprietor was prepared to be flexible over such things as deviating slightly from the breakfast menu.
